looks better than it is!
The bass looks nice, the weight is very light.The neck and finish are nice but the output is half of what my $500 dollar bass is. it may just be a bad unit, not sure.the online reviews all say its a great bass. but for 1200.00?I'm not at all impressed, i have a off the shelf SR505 that plays and sounds better than this bass and only cost me 500.00Save your money!Not worth the COST!Sorry.

High Quality Import Bass with Nordstrand Big Singles
I have the 4 string version. The 1305 version is ~100 U.S. less, which is as cheap as you can get a new SR Premium with similar features to this (1405 seems to me to have a fancier finish). For a modern-tones, with the Nordy pickups, monorail bridge, upgraded electronics and neck, this is bass is worth the price. Mid- and lower priced Ibanez basses are also great, but below the 1300, the features are downgraded. Above the 1300/1400 mark I find it harder to determine what I'd get for the additional money (short of Prestige of course).
