I am going to refer to only the two most common matters about protein: Flavor and mixability, because about the properties there is no accurate way to notice changes.Flavor (Vanilla): It taste pretty common to others protein, it has that particular flavor present in the most; however, I love it. It is a thing of time to get used on it. In the beginning, I don't liked it too much, but now I love it! and I wait the nights anxiously to take my Casein (My last meal), which I mix with some cereal.About the mixability, it mixes perfectly as the same way that the others best brands, yes PERFECTLY, and the result is like a very smoothie and consistent milkshake, either using water, milk, or a mix of them. OK so the taste the first few days is really bad, like just medical tasting bad. However you will adjust and I did in about 5 days. Taste is not great but acceptable and the results are fantastic. Casein makes me have wild dreams so I know this stuff is good, I have bananas dreams after I take this before bed. Helps me recover and train every day, no soreness the next day and helps me maintain muscle mass after a long nights sleep. Easy to mix in water.

I think the flavor of this protein is honestly really good. It’s definitely thicker than their whey proteins, but it tastes good and it mixed fine for me in a shaker with almond milk. I got the chocolate, and it’s a mild chocolate flavor, thick - tastes like a milkshake kind of! I like to mix it with chia seeds and almond milk and let it sit for 45 minutes to turn into a chia seed pudding. Top it with honey and coconut flakes, and it's a delicious snack!

I've only tried the Creamy Vanilla flavor, but it tastes good to me. I'm not super finicky about protein powder taste other than some taste really, "chemical" or artificial, particularly on the back end...and this flavor doesn't. I like the flavor just fine. You can always throw in some add-ins as to change it up if you like too.I typically only mix it with water and it is a little lumpy if you don't go after it with your shaker cup pretty hard core for about 20 seconds or so. Tip...leave yourself some space in your shaker cup to really slosh things around. Don't fill the cup to the rim with liquid till after shaking it up in full. The shaker ball itself only does part of the job mixing it. Use the banging of the liquid against the top and bottom to help things out.If you use a hand blender you're gold for sure (no pun intended) or one of those ProMixx cup/blenders you won't have any lumps at all. It'll turn out kinda creamy.The nutritional components to this powder, if true, measures up against pretty much every other casein protein out there that I've seen, so if you can get this powder for a good price, it's definitely worth the money. I found it to be a lot less expensive than a lot of other casein powders, per serving, and I can see myself buying more of this down the road.

The first thing that is seemingly long gone in this world is the powder in the jar was actually filled nearly to the top! How often do you open protein or a bag of chips and you get 30-40% of what it looks like? Not here! Casein never, ever tastes as good as your standard protein powder. If you consider this is Casein then I give the flavor 4.5 stars. Mixability is just fine in a shaker. Could be a little better, but again in my experience never breaks down and mixes quite as easily as other protein. My suggestion is to mix it 2 hours or more before you plan on drinking it and let it sit in the fridge. It seems to break down easier that way. Of course a blender is always best, but not worth the hassle. I also appreciate the low calorie and sugar in the formula. I'm looking for some muscle recovery while I sleep, so I definitely don't need any carbs and sugar right before bed unless it's beer!

Good product, and Muscletech is a great company. But the flavor profile leaves lots to be desired and it doesn't mix easily. It reminds of the protein powders from the mid-90s and early 2000s that were clumpy and chalky. I wouldn't avoid it, but Mutant's casein powder blows it away by a landslide.

I love this protein to make "pudding" out of. Yes, it is a little clumpy but nothing a blender cant fix, I usually just mix it with a spoon and a bit of water and it fluffs up just like pudding. You can add flavoring or leave it alone, its not overly sweet and for the price and what you get, it is not bad!

Quite possibly one of the worst tasting protein powders I've ever tried, it also didnt dissolve in cold & room temperature water very well.
