DMV Ultra Contact Lens Remover Tool Applicator Made in USA 3 Pack - Blue

Only tried it once but worked like a charm. Just wished that it came in a case because it is very small and easily lost. I bought this because I was having a really hard time one night getting a contact out to the point where I was starting to panic, and now will never have to worry about it again.

I am new to using hard contacts. I can get the contacts on my eyes well, but when it comes to getting the contacts off, that’s another story! This plunger has been a life saver when it comes to taking the hard contacts out!! I use to break my contacts prior to this and now I haven’t broken or dropped a contact since getting this!! This has been such a life saver!!

This tool does not work on removing my Air Optix Aqua lenses. I can feel the suction when I apply on my lenses but when I try to pull it off from the center of my eyes it sucks on to my pupil, so I tried to glide the lenses to the eye corner but then the suction loosen and the lenses don’t come off...judging from the good reviews left for this tool, I think it might be because of the lenses that I’m using are not compatible with this tool. Should have read the reviews before purchasing this. I’ve been able to use it to insert my lenses tho, hence the three stars.

For the past year, I have had an increasingly difficult time removing my Gas-Permeable lenses. I have had contacts since I was 16 - which was MULTIPLE decades ago...and never had a problem getting them out. But I don't know if it is drier eyes, droopier eyelids, less tight eyelids, or what...but as weeks went by the end of the day was a nitemare of pouring cups of eye lubricant in my eyes, using tissues to get a REALLY TIGHT GRIP on the side of my eye, tugging and pulling and having SO MUCH DIFFICULTY removing the lenses. Not to mention if I got something in my eye...which is always a tough time to remove the lens. Then when discussing this with my opthamologist, she mentioned that in school they had used a tiny little suction thing to remove hard lenses from patients' eyes. So I went online, googled "contact lens removal tool" and found these. I bought two each of the white ones and the bright salmon ones. Turns out they are identical, just different colors. The salmon ones are easier to find if dropped. I was skeptical, but all you have to do is moisten the suction cup (works best with contact solution or dry eye lubricant...), stick it onto the surface of the lens and the lens comes right off. I am amazed at how strong these things will grip that lens! (slide the lens off to the side...)This saved me!! I was about to resort to having to wear GLASSES...OH NO!!!! I am now happy happy happy happy!! I plan to buy another half dozen of these and stick them everywhere I might need them...I now have one in my wallet and the other three in the bathroom. But I figure I need one for my overnite bag, and then more spares. They are tiny, they will get lost. So order a pile of them.
