PowernailL175165 16 Gauge 1-3/4 Inch Length L-Cleat Nail for Hardwood Flooring (1 case of 5-1000ct boxes)

This is a hard size to find so I was happy to find these until…. The problem with these is they are not manufactured strong enough for hard wood like teak. Every so often sometimes you can go 20 nails other time 3 out of ten will go half into the hardwood flooring but then the 2nd half will crush causing you to then have to get out your plyers to break off and then countersink the remaining piece. This has caused me to lose a good hour or two per room while hardwooding !! These nails need to be re-engineered before I can give more than two stars. Glad they sell this size but just wish they were higher quality. Never had this issue with Bostitch cleats

Excellent nails even though I don't count to make sure there where exactly 5000 nails. Using these to nail down 3/4" acacia hardwood on 3/4" OSB subfloor. Using Husky brand nailer. No problems.

This cleats are good for hard wood floor installation, at 95 psi I had no issues using these.

This is my second box! The only problem I had was OPERATOR(me) error. The nails were perfect!

Made in the USA from recycled steel! Is there a better reason to buy?

Box says recycled steel. 1 3/4 inch cleats bent fastening 3/4" hardwood flooring. Purchased name brand which worked as designed. Perhaps it was a bad manufacturing lot...
