The escalation of disappointment continues.. blame junk
The photo says it all but I'll fill in some pertinent detail. 1. Searching out this obvious failure was pure pain. Look at any other site that sells this kind of tool... brilliant, yet easy to use obvious taxonomies you click through to arrive at a manageable culling of your choices.. 1's or 10's vs 10's of THOUSANDS. Hours of heartbeats wasted. This isn't the size I wanted.. it's what I settled for. I'll have to redesign part of the project. 2. ANY thinking/useful human would put it in the other way so the money end was protected. I think pointing out stupidity/laziness is now a hate crime. 3. This came late. So if I use this thing, I'll be one day late on my deadline.. And I HAVE to use this thing.. I hate being forced to trust obvious junk and low effort. I've got to stick the clearly mal'd up and therefore untrustworthy money end of this piece of junk into a piece of steel I've already got 4-5 hr in to.... my only choice. Yay. The world didn't used to be like this.

Cut fine, but shank is covered with rust...
The tool cut fine, but after one month, the shank is completely covered in rust. My shop is temperature- and humidity-controlled and I use WD40 of all things for coolant. This is, literally, the only tool I've ever had rust like this.
