Quality build, bad specs
All in all, it's a quality made product. But, some issues: directions not very clear, screws not ideal, but the biggest challenge was the Rough opening. Their specs were WRONG, so it forced me to do a lot of rebuilding. I bought an 80"x42" door, so the total unit was twice that width. Their directions said to do the RO 88"W and 83" Well, it turned out the width needed to be much smaller, like 85 1/2" and the height needed to be taller to fit the screws od the door, so like 83 1/2". Needless to say, it caused a lot of re-working

Terrible customer service and incomplete instructions
Incomplete instructions and non-existent customer support. Let me start with background; I am a 30 year veteran of home remodeling and house flipping, with extensive knowledge and understanding. I purchased the Eclisse pocket door frame kit and read the instructions cover to cover twice before beginning assembly. I first noticed several screws missing from the kit, so I ran to my home center to purchase replacements.Assembly went smoothly with two exceptions. The minor exception was that this frame assembles with tiny sheet metal screws holding the metal frame members together, and in one case the screw wouldn't "take" and spun freely in the sheet metal hole. A large screw is not an option for reasons specific to the design of this frame, therefore, integrity of the build is permanently compromised. But that is the minor issue, the next one is the bigger issue. The last step of assembly is, of course, attaching the frame into the rough opening. The instructions are clear enough in showing how to attach the top and the "pocket" side of the frame, but in now way, shape or form to they explain how to attached the other side of the frame, the side the door would stop against when in the closed position. The vertical member is sold steel with no screw holes or other mean of attachment, it just hangs from the frame above, dangling and swaying in the breeze (if there were a breeze indoors that is).I have a very experienced framer on site, and a very experienced and licensed handyman as well, and both agree the needed information is not in the instructions and not discernable from the product itself.I have left FIVE voice mails for their customer support people and I have sent TWO emails, each one escalating the urgency as I have drywallers coming in two days and need to resolve this before hand.Only once did someone answer the phone, she told me she didn't know anything but would have someone call me. I shared my urgency and she explained that they are "very busy".Well, I am BUSY TOO. At what point did companies start to feel that their time is more valuable than their customers' time? "They are busy" should never be uttered from a company that has any ounce of passion for customer service. It is NOT OK for a company to ignore a customer's desperate pleas to help explain something that they neglected to put in the manual. Today, more than 24 hours later, I continue to call every hour on the hour and leave a voice mail every other hour, but it appears that this company is not interested in supporting their customers. So many other companies to choose from. Save yourself some aggravation and choose a company that actually cares about their customers, this is not one of them.If I get any satisfaction at all, I will promptly update this review.

Terrible instructions
This pocket door system works very well however the instructions are terrible. I also purchased the soft close and soft open which is amazing but again terrible instructions. The trim kit was purchased elsewhere but from the same company and it is glorified cardboard with terrible instructions once again. If you are not very competent with pocket doors tread carefully.

Definitely not worth the cost.
This item is way overpriced, quality is much less than expected and requires another $400 (not counting the door itself) in material to complete the pocket door (soft close bracket + door jamb kit).

much cheaper than the land of maple
good bang for the buck.
