Of coarse they show a merc kit which has a better quad ring and a red sealing bead -This kit has synthetic type quad ring and bit thinner blue sealing bead on the gasket-the gasket is good,o-rings are good, I didn’t trust the quad ring so I used a merc quad & glue it in with bellows adhesive. If you can’t get factory kit this is the next best thing out there.

This is a great gasket set for the DIY person. It's the second time I've purchased it. I'm withholding a star for shipping. It's currently a day late on prime 2 day, so I have the lower unit on a stand instead of on the boat. There is also no overnight option. I'll get an extra to keep on hand.

This is a way better gasket than what comes with some of the cheaper kits.The large oring for the housing is nice and thick too.For the 4 smaller o-rings:One is for the water seal between the drive and the gimbal housing.the other 3 are for the input shaft. (2 up near the u-joint and the other one near the end.)

Took three times to get one that was not folded in half. If it is stored shipped properly, it is a nice gasket set.Note: the Oil ring was a bit large for my 1979 Merc 140hp MR (pre alpha) Lower unit.

This gasket set is just what you need for your Mericruser 2 outdrive. If you have a 1 dont buy this, it will not work. It is inexpensive, and it works great. Fast shipping. Buy BUY BUYYY!!! dont hesitate. Great product.

Ordered this to replace the seals between the upper unit and the bell housing on my Alpha 1 Gen 2 outdrive.I pull the outdrive off every year to inspect the bellows and gimbal bearing and this is a nice $10 replacement to make sure I don't have leaks.They fit perfectly and no leaks yet.

It fit my 2004 bayliner 175. The main gasket took a while to get lined up and it seems too be slightly too big for it... but it has work well just took a long time to get straightened out.

Good product, had no issues. On year three, and still not leaks.
