Major Disappointment
Long story short, bought this frige for less than 2 years ago at a local Home Depot. Found out two days ago in the morning that the fridge had stopped working and it's at 52 degrees?! All my groceries and wife's milk supply for our 2 months old is spoiled. All her hard work in saving up those milk when she goes back to work is gone thanks to Samsung. Spoke to CarePro representative and addressed the issue and demanded them to setup a ticket so a tech can come out to diagnose the issue. The tech came out this morning (2 days later) and concluded that the fan had stopped spinning/working and told me it's not covered within the Samsung's "Sealed refrigeration system" coverage. They don't have the part with them so they had to come back out this Saturday. I had to pay $100 for a 15 minutes visit today. Labor is additional $100 and who knows how much the part will cost me. We're looking at about close to $300. This is not acceptable as the fan only lasted for less than two years. I believe this is a manufacturing defect and that Samsung does not recognize this issue. The reason I bought this fridge in the first place was to replace my 20+ yr old American made GE which had no issues at all and we needed something bigger. Samsung really did a nice job when it comes to marketing their products so that's how we decided to get this. After this incident, I will never buy a Samsung product ever again. My first Samsung experience was their Galaxy S2 and it kept restarting by itself within a year so I switched to Apple which of course had no issues for as long as you own the phone. I guess Samsung's reputation and quality is questionable. Good luck for all of you that has a Samsung product. So I decided to contact the CarePro rep again to see if they can offer me a reimbursement of some sort because it's really frustrating to know that I have to pay $300 out of my own pocket for a fan that only lasted less than 2 years from a company that stands behind their product and "strives" to manufacture the best product. (BS?) Manager told me that there's nothing in their books that acknowledged this defect so they can't do anything for me at this time. I will definitely file a complaint with California's Department of Consumer Affairs regarding this issue.

Horrible appliances horrible service
Heads up: do NOT buy Samsung appliances. Actually the installer warned me they often need repair, but now the poor Samsung repairman has had to come out FIVE times and is now video conferencing with their engineer as they’re making him PROVE what he told them two visits ago, which is that the defective unit needs to be replaced after 4 months.

I am pretty much impressed the new technology on this cooler...it is Not a just cooler or freezer any more.I had a problem that freezes the display, and technician took care of it asap even tho thats because of kids did something...Well I think it is all can by case, but anyway I love this product so far.Extremely satisfied.

Screen doesn't work, bad apps, do not buy
So far, it's been 5 months and the screen has worked combined maybe two weeks. Five minutes here a day there, repair people came and went and it's not fixed. They take about a month to get an appointment for the repair people.Samsung has limited apps on the hub, very limited and they work poorly. Can't use Netflix if that matters. The ice maker doesn't crush almost at all. The water stops if you have a door open, even the other door. I'm sure it's a safety feature or something but mildly annoying. If you are considering this fridge, I recommend a family shopping list app, and buying something else. The app to share a shopping list is the biggest feature we used, but since the fridge doesn't work most the time, it's not convenient. Also the app is hard to add and move stuff around in the lists. Poorly designed. The shelves are not made for milk jugs. Basically none are the right height(an inch too short). You can lift a shelf out of the way to give you enough room for basically almost two jugs stacked on top of each other but then you lose an entire shelf in an already small fridge. The look in fridge feature sounds great but honestly hardly use it after the first month. And when the screen isn't working, it won't work. So, I highly recommend anything else. Definitely not worth the extra money. I really wish I could go back and have bought something else.

Save your money, read the reviews
Purchased a frenchdoor model and after 12 months the ice maker begin freezing up. Call a service tech and they came and replaced the master board. As they repaired my unit, service tech explained to me the issues with this refrig and told me to look on google/ youtube in regards to reviews on the frig. Told me it probably be in my best interest to just turn the in door ice maker off entirely and use the bottom one. Then stated when the entire unit froze up, use coolers and turn the unit off for 8-10 hours each time it freezes. Repair lasted 2 weeks before we had to reset the refrig again and today my freezer is 22 degrees while my frig is 64. Service can not return for another 6 days due to backlogs. I’m in deep, so I’ll have to figure out when to call it quits and bury this 3yr old unit. What a waste. Save your money and move on.

Samsung refrigerator's have numerous unsolved issues with ice makers. ...
Samsung refrigerator's have numerous unsolved issues with ice makers. Would steer clear of ice in door models. They freeze up due to design issues and Samsung support doesn't have resolutions for this despite multiple inquiries. See pic of my refrigerator's ice maker.
