It may work, it may not -- for your dog
Checking the reviews for all products of this type, it seems to be a matter of try this, try that, try another, until you find something that actually works for your dog. I didn't want to believe that, but these products made zero difference in stopping our 6 month-old pup: Nutri-Vet Nasty Habit Chewables, 120 Count Coprophagia Soft Chews - 90 count It just killed me to waste money on expensive products, but you'll know within a few days if this is working to deter your dog's bad habit. In our case our puppy was eating our other dog's doggie doo -- his special diet food is quite tasty to both dogs and evidently the "output" from our fat boy was equally as tasty to our puppy. Icky, huh? It's just a shame I was ignorant and bought the larger sizes of the products that *didn't* work. Live and learn. All I can tell you is this worked for us, but we did have to double up on the quantity because we have a hard core scrounger/eater. So, if you're at the point of getting desperate, as we were, give this one a try, you could be pleasantly surprised. Now I'm going to order several more because ol' fatty is still on his special diet food and puppy will continue to look for his poop until the habit is broken.I'd also suggest if one of these sold on Amazon doesn't do the job for you, give the remaining product(s) to your vet or local animal shelter. Shelter staff are wonderfully grateful for anything you wish to donate -- food, collars, leashes, beds, anything.

Not working for my yorkie
Received these quickly. My dog has taken these almost a week now. Does not seem to be detering him from playing with his poop. He likes the tablets. I know people said it can take awhile before it works. My pup is a little over 6 months he a little over 2lbs. I give about 1/2 Tablet maybe I should just give half in the morning half at night. I started trying to give a little fresh pineapple as I also heard that help help prevent him from playing and eating poop. So far neither thing seems to work. Just me catching and getting rid of it before he plays with it. I make sure he brushes his teeth when I catch him playing with it too. Figure that too might make him want to stop. Haha not my boy lolUpdate:I have almost used a whole sheet. Has not stopped my crazy boy one bit. But my problem is my boy plays with his poop. He does not so much actually eat it as bring it all over the place etc. But this does not deter him one bit. I tried pineapple also. I seem to be out of luck. I just hope he grows out of it.

Potty Mouth No More... Perhaps.
I have three dogs. One about 30 lbs, and two others weighing in at about 50 lbs each. These pills are intended to make the poop taste bad (which is an odd statement in itself). From the ingredients, my assumption is that the "active" ingredient is Cayenne. Anyway, each dog gets one tablet per 10 lbs to start the "program". All three of my dogs eat the pills easily... no jamming them down the throat until they swallow (and, all three are a bit finicky). So, after about a week I've gone through a couple boxes to "treat all the byproducts" hitting the backyard. My observations are that the biggest "consumer" first would begin to eat, then drop the "material". Now, she'll still look to find a tasty morsel, but smells then does not even touch it. Seems the pills actually add enough of whatever to give them a worse taste. So, I don't believe the habit is broken, as she still is inspecting and smelling. So, I've ordered two additional packages to move all the dogs into a "maintenance mode". That requires only one pill per day, so two boxes should get me through a month or so for all three dogs.We do have another dog that has had this habit for years. I can't really say if this product is working for her or not, as observations over a week have been limited. I can say I've not seen her "consume" lately, though she might be sneaking when we're not watching. So, my rating is really not impacted by the results for this dog.I must say that I rated the product down from a 5 star as the web site was mostly under construction. Hard to believe that a decent web site with FAQ's does not exist... but it doesn't. I had questions about safety for cats (as one dog likes to grab snacks from the litter box), as well as some other relevant product questions. Oh well.

Great results!
This is a great product, at least for our need. We tried other products with no luck. This tablets work very well, our dog stopped eating her stool in a couple of days. One big plus is that she loves the taste so we give the table as a reward. No need to mix it with food or force her to eat it. My only observation is that we use doble the amount suggested. But other tan that, it work perfectly.

These pills do not necessarily work too well. My dog is still eating his poo with a passion. I have tried everything and I am tired and don't know what to do. He wants to lick folk in there face and he licks my 2-year baby cousin literally in the mouth we have to keep them apart. The 2 year is just as bad he will walk up to the cage and let the dog lick him in the mouth and they were will be licking each other. I now have a gate up to prevent that. I thought the pills were working at first because on time he ate the poo and then immediately threw it up. I am even currently trying unsalted meat tenderizer on the dog's food per my vet. I still don't see a complete 100% change from the dog eating his poo. Disgusting!!!!

we use it as treats, works 100%, but our puppy still plays with his poop
My Shih Tzu puppy loves the taste. We use it once a day as a treat for training. 2 days ago we ran out of pills after 2 months of use and he started eating his poop again so we are ordering many more.I give this product 5 stars because in itself it is wonderful, HOWEVER, my puppy was still playing with his poop at times when we didn't see him... which didn't eliminate our concern completely of him being clean when he sleeps on my pillow at night - which is the reason we bought those pills in the first place.
