CHEAT SHEET!
As an idependent fashion designer in New York City I get so busy. I usually make every single garment from scratch, that means from concept to muslin to paper pattern, but there are times I need a cheat sheet. I use commercial patterns as template to eliminate a few steps and save time. This pattern is the perfect 'cheat sheet' because it offers 4 major sizes which saves me time on pattern grading.

A Truly Easy Vogue Pattern
I altered the pattern to fit my specific measurement. The pattern was easy to follow and the wrap dress came out beautifully. It was truly easy to make.

Missing instructions
The envelope had been opened (was taped shut) and one page of instructions is missing. There are supposed to be 3 pages of instructions but only 2 were in the envelope.

Classic Design
I used this pattern as a beginning sewer, and the dress came out great! I had to make a full bust adjustment and therefore lengthen the bodice, I moved the left tie to the side seam and added small interior securement ties, all of which are just my preference. The design is very flattering and the skirt is moderately full and classic. I will make this one again.

Directions are confusing and pattern pieces on the neckline didn't come together exactly even if the cut is exact. I now remember why I'm not a big fan of Vogue patterns!
