This is an OEM part and solved my problem. Easy to install and way cheaper than hiring a appliance repair company.

Purchased a cheaper one and it worked for a few days then no ice. Have had this one in for about a month now and it is still making ice.

Worked great and easy to install. In addition to the main valve on this failing (confirmed by removing the outlet tube and trying it on its own) an internal coil of tubing inside the fridge meant to have extra cold water for the water dispenser - was frozen. It is a coil at the bottom left of the inside and has a cover. I removed the cover and there was ice inside. I used a hairdryer to thaw and now the whole system is working again. Frigidaire products are so poorly designed - sad - constant issue with them.

Product worked well after an easy install. Unfortunately the part didn't solve the problem. :( Apparently, Frigidaire side-by-side, bottom mount freezers are notorious for poor ice-cuber maker/water dispenser designs. The water line coming from the ice maker had apparently froze. Had to unplug the fridge and thaw the fridge completely. Wouldn't buy another Frigidaire product again.
