Two different charging my cables cannot fit through the charge port. Only one review speaks of this, I'm disappointed because this is very counter productive. I will not want to take off the case each time I have to charge my phone, especially when I charge my phone in areas that need to protect my phone.

I bought this case a couple months ago, for the price and features that it provided. Having a case that was waterproof and has a lanyard, works for perfect for the field of work I'm in. Unforntuely the day this case met its maker I did not have it strapped to me. I watched my phone dolphin dive 150ft, straight on gravel. I thought, well it's time for a new phone. I thought wrong, miraculously it survived. No scratches, breaks, chips or malfunctions whatsoever. Besides the case being damaged, I'll definitely be ordering a new one.

I am down in Houston Texas, and this region was just heavily impacted by Hurricane Harvey. I am a Rescue Swift Water tech with the Fire Depatment. We completed over 2500 rescues during and sfterr the hurricane. Due to being deployed to region's I was in familiar with I had to use my phone for navigation and communication. With this case on it, I had no issues at all. The phone stayed dry and never impacted by water even after multiple submersions. On the fifth day a large tree came down and hit my self and the boat and directly on the phone case that was in my front chest pocket of my life vest. It only sustained a crack on the bottom of the case, but still maintained its ability to stay water resistant. Only a small amount of water got in after the strike. This case is a very good product. I'll have to order another one soon to replace this one. And all though it is indirectly 2500 victims are thankful for allowing me to get to them and pull them out. The case is not too big and very sturdy. The phone fits in it very well and does not move around inside. The edge does not make it hard to push the side buttons. I will definitely purchase again to replace the one I broke. Best S8 case put so far.

I've had this case for about a year now and I've not been easy on it. It's survived countless drops and dunks into the water. Normally I don't take the time to write reviews but I feel like this should be known. I ran over my phone, with a truck, and it survived while in this case. Granted I wasn't on pavement, it was still very nerve racking to run over something that was a little over $700. My phone, and the case, came out perfectly unscathed, everything still works, there's not a scratch on it. I will never have any other brand of case on my phone, congrats Ghostek, you guys weren't messing around.

Where to begin... first off I have to admit I am super hard on my electronic devices. Especially my phone. I am a photographer and storm chaser so I always have my gear out in the worst of the elements. So when I picked up this case I was interested to see how it would work out. And I have to say I am overly happy and pleased with it! The quality of the case and the materials have held up within the short amount of time I have had it. It has been through dust storms, rain, hail and has been blown off a tripod by 70mph winds and it is incredible. I also took some videos and photos of the kids swimming in the pool and didn't have to worry one bit about the case performance even after the abuse I have put it through. Big thumbs up to Ghostek for making a heck of a case!! Thank you!!

I bought this case with apprehension because of my prior luck. I had been attempting to use a lifeproof case for about a week now, and I have had no luck. I went through three cases trying to get a working case. I returned my third lifeproof and got my refund, I took less than half of the money I spent on the lifeproof case and I put that into this case. I am 100% pleased with this case as of now. For the pros and the cons.I will compare this case to the only other waterproof case I have dealt with: The Lifeproof.Pros:+The screen protector is 100% better fitting than the lifeproof case's protector, it sits perfectly flush with the phone and there is no rainbowing of the screen.+The buttons are much 100% better feeling than the lifeproof's, they are much more tactile+It is a very tight seal around the edge of the case, so I feel confident as to the waterproofing+feels very durable+phone call sound quality is excellent, the other person on the line can hear even a slight whisper, while I can hear them loud and clear.+touch sensitivity of the screen is excellent, the same as the phone without a screen protector.Cons:-is very very bulky, much more than the lifeproof.-with any waterproof case, the speaker is muffled about 20-30% of the total volume-do not try to leave the screen protector on your phone, it will case there to not be enough room in the case for the screen, and it will cause some weird affect to the screenAll in all, I love this case. right now. I will try to do a follow up review with this case if my feelings change; however, I do not think they will. I plan to use this case every day. $35 to protect my ~$800 phone? When it is this high quality, I say yes.

Love it. Case is exactly opposite of what the Samsung Galaxy S8 was designed to be...slim and beautiful. But, I really like the look, feel and "gripability" of it. It fits my hand well. The dash of color is nice. Call and camera quality seem unaffected. Charges in the case. They provide an earpiece cable adapter that allows wet use of (waterproof) headsets or buds. You don't have to have waterproof headsets or buds; dropping the phone in water will still protect the phone. Charges wirelessly through the case.

Good case. Great corner protection. Waterproof test passed!! Reads the fingerprint pretty good. Kinda takes a few times to catch it good but all in all, a great case.

does what it says, waterproof and sturdy case. Fingerprint scanner is awkward because of the film on the back case. does work but I would re scan your fingerprint if you intend to use it. only down side is sound is muffled and not as loud as other cases. Yes this is due to it being in a water proof case but would rate higher if sound and speaker were clearer. can be awkward on phone speaker as well when making call. For the price I expected better but it is a solid case no doubt, as I have dropped it already and my phone is still good.

Bought this to protect my Samsung S8, thought it might be a bit bulky, and it is, not too much though.But it is an amazing, awesome piece of gear. Total protection and no cutbacks on touch screen.Totally responsive. Would i recommend it - Yes. Would i buy it again -Yes.

Sent back for a refund as face recognition and fingerprint scanner doesn’t work when in the case but the waterproof test was spot on, an hour in water with a tissue and not a drop on the tissue, perfect for swimming and beach times just not for everyday use

Total protection but total loss of style and beauty. This is necessary if the phone is for an 11 year old. Very bulky and almost impossible to fit in any pocket but item is as described so its not a complaint from me.

This broke in its first fall from a sofa onto a wooden floor ! Not happy considering it’s cost.. would not recommend ever
