Vital Proteins® & Jennifer Aniston™ Dark Chocolate Coconut Flavored Protein and Collagen Bar 12-count box

It might be pointless to review these now that they seem to be unavailable everywhere, but these were the BEST tasting protein bar ever... Better than most candy bars with tons of sugar. I post this now in the hopes that maybe the nice people at Vital Proteins will see this and bring them back. I tried them on a whim because I really wanted something coffee flavored. I was almost dissuaded by having a celebrity name on a protein bar, but decided it would be just as dumb to not try them because of a celebrity as it would be to buy them because they have a celebrity endorsement. If VP doesn't start making them again, I hope one of their competitors will see the coffee shaped hole in the protein bar market and fill it with something comparable.

I love these protein bars! They have a great flavor a decent amount of protein, low in sugar and not too many calories. I wish I could get some of the other flavors in bulk like this and on subscribe and save.

The bar was very good except I ordered the coconut flavor and received the coffee flavor, so I knocked off a star for that. The product cannot be returned or replaced. Not too sweet.

I was so exited to order these bars, they were on sale on prime day and I ordered 2 flavors. These and the peanut butter. They are definitely better tasting but not great. These however taste awful. I’m really bummed I cannot return them. I could hardly finish the bar.I take collagen supplements regularly, I’ve bought Vital Proteins in the past, esp the unflavored powder for drinks - and I couldn’t wait to try these. I usually take protein/ meal bars to work. Plus I adore Jen Aniston. Like adore.But I was soooooooooo turned off by the taste. Not only bitter and grainy but no yummy coconut or chocolate flavor seemed to be present. I like that they were low sugar, i but sugar free products so I wasn’t shell shocked about that. I like that they had mushrooms - I buy Lairds! I’m hip to everything they were supposed to be about but YUCK🤢Sooooo disappointed. Now I’m stuck w them and will prob choke them down spitefully since I can’t return them. Sorry Jen but this ain’t it. I love you though, so much.

Awful taste. Don’t expect Jennifer Aniston like results. There’s NO way she eats this, it tastes awful. lol. she probably gets a nice fat check for putting her name and likeness on the product though. It looks nice.. tastes awful. Ingredients on label are just ‘meh’. look into OWYN products if you are seeking high quality protein snack that is convenient when you are in a hurry.

I purchased the "Cold Brew" bar initially, I really like the flavor. Something I can't say about other low-carb protien bars I've tried. They are a bit pricey, but by getting them in bulk, it's not so bad. I did order the Peanut Butter and Chocolate bar for my husband to try. He liked them. (I'm not a peanut butter fan, so he can have them to himself.)Update: since the recall these have been impossible to get until recently. Even now there is a limit. Peanut butter ones are easier to come by, I in spite of my previous statement, I find i do like them so hubby has to share!

I love these VP/JA bars, but they have dropped off the face of the earth. Cannot find them anywhere, even the website. My nutritionist even approved them.

RARELY do products actually do what they claim, but Vital Proteins has tangible results. I have been using the powder for some time now and my hair and nails grow much faster and are substantially stronger so I can only imagine the same is true from my bones and joints. I was thrilled to try the chocolate bars; however, the cool pack melted in shipping in my very first first order saturating the contents and when I emailed the seller they immediately contacted me and sent a replacement which I love! Thank you and I will continue to using both!
