Absolute Black Dark Chocolate 100 Per Cent Cocoa 90g

I'm allergic to all kinds of man-made sweeteners, so 100 % chocolate is important. There are some fine products. This one tops them all. Astounding for its pure chocolate power, akin to sweet, robust and rich. It has made COVID-19 sequestration worthwhile, since this product entered my life during the virus lockdown. I almost regret sharing this information with you. You'll tell all your friends about Montezuma Absolute Black Dark Chocolate, and none of us will be able to get enough of it. But if we love other people and love to listen to their stories, we should share the best music, the best movies and books, our best recipes for a lovely life. This chocolate is as good as music, movies, books and recipes get. Just my opinion.

I order this bar a couple times a month. Highest chocolate I’d found before was 92%. After eating this for a few months, even 92% is too sweet. This is my go to favorite for its quality and taste. Also, since it’s 100% and lower sugar I can eat more. 5 stars, highly recommend. It takes a little getting used to. Now I don’t eat anything else.

I had never tasted something like this, so it was a bit too bitter for me. However im sure folks who love chocolate bitterness over it being sweet would like this. Mine came partially melted (my fault i live in california and its currently summer). Overall seems to be of good quality

I'm always looking for 100% chocolate or ones close to that with minimal sugar so I gave this one a shot. The ones with the most cocoa butter in them seem to be the ones I like the most. This one is not one of those. It's very dense chocolate and takes a while in your mouth to melt. The taste is more like bakers chocolate not something that wowed me but it was OK. There are so many different dark chocolate bars out there that I'm not sure this one is worth buying again. Overall this is an option if you want 100% dark chocolate and the price was within reason.

I ordered this on April 24, 2020. It only cost $6.39 at that time, and was expected to arrive by May 28, 2020. Well... it finally arrived today, August 27, 2020, and was in pitiful condition, light colored powdery cast, crumbling, gritty. And, the kicker was the bb date was 03/12/20 !!!!!! I know this to be excellent quality chocolate because I had previously purchased this exact same chocolate here locally and it had always been the very best quality, so that was why I ordered it from Amazon when our local store didn't have it anymore. Huge disappointment.

This is a very good bar of unsweetened chocolate. The taste is quite bitter but I like it. There’s nothing else in it so no worries about chemicals, Alkali or any other added ingredients. It’s a bit pricey but worth it for the taste. You don’t need much, it also gives you energy and you can parried up with any nut butters of your choosing.

This is the highest quality chocolate I've ever tasted, and I've been a fan of pure chocolate and cocoa nibs for the last 15 years. My sister-in-law gave me a bar last month when I visited her in Austin and I've been looking everywhere for it. Who knew that I could just Google it and get it on Amazon!?! I'm 60-yo, not very computer savvy, and this is the first review I've ever written, so that gives you an idea how much I LOVED this chocolate. A naturally sweet and nutty taste with no bitterness; just lovely.

Mfg. in the UK, the latest seller on Amazon takes a month to ship it. It used to be easily and widely available, but no more. Best rated by ConsumerLab for low cadmium. Terrific taste and texture.

So strong it's almost inpalitable, but it's still great. I'm using it more as a health aid rather than an indulgence. A couple of chunks a day as an antioxidant. I'm starting to get use to the taste now. If you like sweet chocolate this is not for you. It's like putting a teaspoon of raw cocoa powder in your mouth.
