This egg cooker is a total time-saver! I love how easy it is to use, just add the right amount of water with the included measuring cup, press the button, and it does the rest. The auto shut-off and buzzer make sure the eggs come out perfect every time, whether I want them soft, medium, or hard-boiled. It also comes with trays for poaching and making omelets, which is super handy. Everything is easy to clean and doesn’t take up much space on the counter. I wish I had got this when they first came out. Best invention since the microwave. Can't say enough good about it. Perfect boiled eggs every time. Easy to peel. I will never go back to the old way of boiling them on the stove. Quick and easy,no fail. I didn't think I needed this...I was wrong.Works great.I LOVE IT!!!!!Get one. You won't be sorry.

Works perfectly, but beeps too much
The media could not be loaded. The egg cooker works really well. Adjusting the amount of water in the steamer with the measuring cup allows you to get the yolk cooked perfectly to taste. I typically do just a little under the hard boiled line.I love that it stops cooking automatically so that the eggs won’t overcook. This is super handy when getting ready in the morning. This cooker is a game changer in terms of being able to make breakfast and get out the door.My only criticism is that it beeps too much and too loud. The heating element shuts off automatically after all the water has boiled off, but it won’t stop beeping until you press the button to turn it off. This is annoying if you’re trying to be quiet early in the morning. I wish it would beep 3 times and then stop.UPDATE:I fixed the beep with a 7mm socket (under the sticker on the bottom) and needle nose pliers.

No more dry yolks
I didn’t realize how much I was overcooking my eggs until I got this egg cooker. For years, I thought boiled eggs were always supposed to be dry and would never eat the yolk because of it. Turns out, perfectly timed eggs aren’t dry at all, and now I actually enjoy the yolk! The cooker is easy to use—just fill the plate with water using the included measuring cup, press the button, and it does the rest. No more babysitting the eggs while they cook, and the machine shuts off automatically when they’re done. I first saw this kind of egg cooker at my brother’s place and thought it was a dumb purchase, but after my eggs kept popping open and were always too dry, I decided to give it a try. I definitely overcooked them before, and this little machine has really made a difference. There is a slight chemical smell when cooking, but it's not too strong and doesn’t bother me since I peel the eggs anyway. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that one time the eggs came out a little runny, though that could’ve been my fault. The cooker comes with a small measuring cup, so you can choose the level of doneness you want—runny, medium, or hard-boiled—just by adding the right amount of water. It also includes a poaching tray, though I haven’t tried that yet. You just break the eggs into the tray, add the water, and follow the same simple process. The instruction booklet is clear and easy to follow. The machine has a small footprint, so it doesn’t take up much space. Its quiet, too--just a steam sound. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. My boiled eggs are so much more enjoyable now, and I actually eat the yolk!

Egg cooker
Very handy appliance for perfect hard boiled eggs whenever you need them. Easy to use and only requires a small place on the countertop. I recommend this product.

Cooks eggs
Works fine, I like the loud, annoying buzzer that others have complained about. It lets me know when my eggs are done.

Takes out the guesswork
The media could not be loaded. I have used my egg cooker several times since getting it a few months ago, and it has worked wonderfully each time. I poke a hole in the wider end of each egg and then place the eggs in the cooker with the pointy end down, pour the "hard" amount of water into the cooker, place the lid on top, and turn it on. When it beeps, I leave it in another minute or two then move the cooked eggs to a bowl of ice water for a few minutes. After they are cold or at least cold enough to peel, they peel easily and are just the right degree of cooked.I like my egg cooker so much that I bought one for my mom. It really takes the guesswork out of getting hard boiled eggs cooked just right, and I don't have to worry about broken shells from boiling water and don't have to clean a pot. It's surprising that such a simple, inexpensive gadget can work so well and make boiling eggs so much easier. I'm pleased with it!

Great purchase
Another great item by Elite Gourmet. You could pay a tad less for a egg cooker, but I rather pay a couple dollars more for a highly trusted brand that has never disappointed me.This egg cooker is everything advertised and more. I love the ease of boiling eggs, making omelets and even steaming Korean dumplings in the cooker. The included measuring cup is pretty accurate as far as telling you how much water to use for each type of cooking option. I would advise filling the entire cup full to the very top fir hardboiled eggs. The only issue I have experienced was a tip of the ''leg'' of the egg rack did melt off onto the hot plate the 2nd time i used it. I scrapped it off the hotplate and it still functions just fine. I can't explain how that happened to be honest; but it isn't really a big deal since it hasn't happened again and hasn't messed anything up.
