TCL 49" Class 49S403 (48.5" Diag.) 4K Ultra HD Roku LED LCD TV

TV apps work great, picture quality is quite good. Sound is ok. Got this as a second tv for gaming in the basement and have had it about 6 months. Works great, kids love the picture quality.

I upgraded from an old plasma HD TV. Picture quality is quite good, considering the pricepoint. Won't blow you away, but it's good. And you can fine tune the color, etc. The Roku part I'm mixed on. Some apps you still can't access unless you have a cable provider (hopefully that will change in the future as such companies expand beyond their contracts with cable providers), and I was thinking to forego my cable, but I'm not now. At the very least the Roku channel does offer some good movies.

I loved this TV while it worked. Great picture, good sound, I was happy. Then, about a year after Ibought it, “POP!” it sounded like something blew and the set was dead. If you think this is the one for you, but an extended warranty.
