the OEM charger that came with my garmin venq was, and is, very frustrating to use. it's cord is super short and it's a challenge to get it connected to charging block. naturally, i came on amazon looking for a solution and I found this. this works flawlessly with any USB-C cable. so I connected it to my 10 foot USB-C cable and it started charging my watch right away. no issues, disconnects or anything. One note of caution. this thing is very small and can be lost easily. so keep it connected to your USB-C cable at all times.

What can I say? USB-C adapter for charging my Garmin Instinct. Works flawlessly. Saves me from having to keep track of another specialty charging cable. Keep it in a drawer in the night table where everything charges and when the watch needs it I just plug this into the watch and cable. Done. The proprietary Garmin cable stays in the car now.

It would never fail, I'd be driving my child to an athletic event and his Forerunner would be low on battery. I didn't want to have to buy a full on dedicated charging cord, so I got this. Nice and small, easy to put on the end of a USB-C cable, charges at the normal speed and it has lasted for a year in the back seat of my truck getting trampled on when they don't remember to put it back in the console.

This is perfect for a car or to minimize cables, traveling with less stuff and clutter! Charges perfectly! My only concern is it is small. Will be a great accessorie backpacking. One less cable I need to pack. I can charge my GoPro, Android and now my Garmin Fenix with one cord!👍

Great product. It is affordable and works well. I already have way too many cables and rather have an adapter. Highly recommend this one.

I've only used this adapter 5 times and it now is so loose on my watch(Garmin Instinct Solar) connector pins that it will only charge if I position it a certain way. If it gets bumped or if the wind blows it loses connection and has to be repositioned again. The garmin charging cord is working fine so it's not the watch.Disclosure: I do carry the connector every day on my Keychain so maybe it has taken a hit somehow, and it was a very good adapter when it worked, so I'm going to leave a 4 star with this explanation.

My Garmin instinct watch won't stay charged up on its own in the winter, because my overclothes cover the solar cell. I've ended up with the watch dying halfway through several hikes. This little charger fits on my key ring so if I suddenly decide I need a charge and I'm driving up to a trailhead, I'm able to plug a regular USB c plug into it and get the Garmin charged up.
