Hi. I think you are asking how hard it is to keep clean? I have the large one with the world map on it which has a light blue background on it and I have spilled coffee and soda on it and it cleans up very well, leaving no stains behind. My daughter has one with a black background and her wipes clean as well with a damp cloth as well. We both love these mouse pads not only for gaming but for everyday use.
