Excellent value
These dried mushrooms had excellent flavor. They held up nicely and still had intense flavor some time later. They are very concentrated and a little went a long way with great flavor.

Clean and Well-shaped
These mushrooms are intact ( not in tiny little fragments) and lovely in taste. I will buy these gain.

Not impressed at all... waste of money!
I have tried this product in several recipes and never got the very special taste of good porcini in the final meal. I think this product definitely does not justify the price, use regular white button mushrooms you’ll get the same result.

Way worth the extra money
This is our second purchase of these Italian Porcini Mushrooms. They are bigger than cheaper brands and look more fresh. No bugs or worms with this product.

Overall quite happy
I have been using these a few months now. Overall I am happy with them. They are gritty so after hydrating I don’t use all the hydration water, I leave the bottom residue and dump it. At the top of the bag the pieces are good size, but towards the bottom they get smaller, so you have to pick through depending on your recipe. When I purchased, just a few months ago, they were 15usd, now 20usd?They do have a rich earthy flavor that really enhances a dish. I will, reluctantly since the price increase, purchase them again.

A handy way to have a nutritious mushroom
After reading that porcini are the most nutritious mushrooms, I decided this was the best way to get some--dehydrated so they'll last a while. Very nice flavor once they're reconstituted. I use on steak and in any recipe that calls for mushrooms.

Not bad but…
This is not bad but the portion versus the price point makes it very expensive and hardly worth it
