Ready to ice coffee for summer!
Works really well and does exactly what it promises. It cools hot coffee quickly without watering it down, which is the main reason I bought it! It’s simple to use, easy to clean, and convenient for making iced coffee at home without waiting around. Overall, it’s a practical little gadget that actually delivers on its purpose and I’ve been happy with it so far.

Quickly and affordable make iced coffee at home
We just got our HyperChiller and after one test run can safely say we love it. Filled it up, per the instructions, and left to freeze overnight. Yesterday afternoon, when we usually have our ice coffee craving, we made some coffee in our french press and poured it into the Hyperchill. After a little over a minute (while swirling the product) we poured it into a cup with ice and the coffee was already chilled to perfection. The taste was great too! Not overly bitter and definitely not watered down at all. We even filled up the hyperchiller a second time with the rest of the coffee from the french press. We let it sit a little longer (about 3-4 minutes while swirling the HyperChill) and again is cooled it down to a perfect temp for pouring over ice. So basically we got almost 25oz of iced coffee in a few minutes time. We're excited for the cost savings we'll see not buying iced coffee out as much. Some things to note • They warn you on the instruction sheet, but a little melted ice will drip out when you go to pour your iced coffee from the hyperchiller. There are some vent hold on the top of the product that the melted ice seeps from. I made sure to pour the iced coffee out over the sink so wasn't a big deal. But something to be aware of. • the HyperChiller has to sit standing up in the freezer (otherwise the water will spill out before it freezes). Again, not a big deal, buy you have to make sure you have space in your freezer to sit right side up. Can't expect to just place on it's side or cram it into the freezer any which way. • Probably the biggest downside of the HyperChiller is there is no way to see how much hot coffee you're poured into the top. If you're using a Kuerig it won't matter as it only created a set amount. But we were pouring from our french press so weren't entirely sure how much we'd poured in. We had to be careful not to overfill. Not a big deal, we just took it slow, but would be great to somehow have a way to see how much you've filled the HyperChill. All that to say, it was a great first run. It's mostly all plastic so feels a bit cheap at times, but it doesn't feel like the product will break or be weak anytime soon. Overall feels fairly sturdy. If you're looking quickly make some iced coffee at home, I would highly recommend this relatively inexpensive option.

Great concept, not so great execution
Great concept: it chills coffee in 1–2 minutes and makes flavorful cold coffee without dilution. Unfortunately, the execution falls short. My first one arrived in damaged packaging, and the cup lid did not fit properly (there's a gap). I ordered a replacement, which also arrived in damaged packaging, although the lid fit correctly this time. Another drawback is storage: the interior remains exposed, with no cover to seal the opening. I use a Ziplock bag as a workaround, but a proper cover would be much more hygienic.

Great but some flaws
4/15/18 update. The plastic on top of the inner most chamber started to break off of the unit. I contacted the company even though I purchased this before Christmas figuring the worst they could do is tell me to pound sand. Mind you today is a Sunday, they contacted me back within an hour of reaching out. They are sending a new piece to me free of charge after seeing a picture of it. Because of this level of service, I am even more confident in their product! First this thing is awesome for strong iced coffee. Couple things though. The overflow ports for the frozen water do let some water out when you're pouring those final drops of coffee. Not a big deal but eventually you have to refill it to ensure it's at full capacity. Next thing that started happening is that it's leaking from where you screw the top on. It's almost like the sudden temperature changes are making it loosen up. I have to tighten it up constantly. Not a deal breaker but it does leak quite a bit of water if you're not careful. Only other thing that I wish it didn't do was slosh out the top if you swirl the device as recommended on the box. Basically to cool liquid quicker you have to swirl the device. Problem is, there are holes to fill and pour and your coffee can spill out of them like an open cup if you're not careful.

Bulky and barely works.
I got this after seeing a bunch of ads for it on Facebook. I thought, wow, that's really cool that it can chill a drink so quickly. I thought it was electronic, but then learned that it works by filling two compartments with water/ice that surround your drink and cool it. It seemed ingenious. Well, it isn't. This thing sucks. It's a lot of work for little reward. First off, it only works once before you have to refreeze it for your next drink. It says it can work up to 2 drinks, that's total bs. If you have a cold drink and want to make it slightly colder, then yea, it'll work twice. But you won't make 2 ice coffees from 2 hot coffees. The ice inside melts almost immediately when you put any drink above room temperature in it. And there's also the fact that you when you rinse it by filling it with water/soap etc, it'll further melt the ice inside, so now you have to wait another 1-2 hours if you want to use it for a different kind of drink. Another problem is that it fits only 12oz. So if you have a bottle/pint of warm beer and want to cool it, you'll have to fill this thing twice, and by the second time the ice inside will already be half melted, so it won't cool your beer uniformly. The last problem is that this thing is BIG. It's got an irregular shape and it's really wide. It's going to take up some real room in your freezer, and you can't just position it any way you want since it has to be upright for the water inside to freeze correctly. I returned this. I'd rather put my beer or coffee in the fridge or freezer, wait a bit and then drink it. But for $40??? No thanks. Not worth the hassle of cleaning/freezing and losing freezer space.

absolutely love this
Love iced coffee but hate doubling or tripling the volume of liquid I have to drink in order to get the caffeine buzz. I have tried cold brew (pretty messy, uses a lot of coffee), and "iced coffee" brewer (brews coffee into a big cup, to which i add a whole bunch of ice (more liquid, liquid no thanks)). Talking to you Mr. Coffee, and Keurig. This chills to ice temp a hot cup of coffee in just 2-3 minutes. I love it. My only gripe is that I have to keep it in my tiny freezer. It is bigger than a pint of ice cream but smaller than a quart. And it has to be stored upright. But I have managed to give it space for several months so I can ice my coffee. I drink at least 1 cup a day and use it 3-5 times a week (I still like it hot once in a while). as far as cleaning, daily, you simply rinse it out and return to the freezer, no need to disassemble the whole thing. every couple weeks, I defrost it, take it apart and wash the whole thing and refreeze. If you like iced coffee, and have a little freezer space for it, you wont regret this purchase.

Where has this been all my life!!
I prefer iced coffee over hot anytime of the year. This is the easiest and fastest method of preparing iced coffee without being watered down that I have ever tried. I have tried many ways, including refrigerator iced coffee (brewed in fridge), k-cups sold specifically to make iced coffee, and just letting the coffee cook on porch in winter lol. None of these are convenient or quick, and the k-cups taste watered down. Now, I usually use regular k-cups, brew, and then pour immediately in the chiller. While I wait a couple minutes to cool, I prepare add ice to my glass. Usually by the time I get my glass of ice ready, coffee is about done in chiller. I just pour in my glass of ice, and bam, done!! I rinse the chiller out and put it back in the freezer. I only take the chiller apart and replace the water inside once every week or two. This is quick and has worked fine for me. Not sure if it is specified to replace water or when, but since the water inside doesn’t touch the coffee, it doesn’t need to be done often at all. I mainly replace the water just in case some is lost to evaporation after awhile. I suggest that if you use a j-cup, you brew into a cup with a pouring lip. I use a glass measuring cup for this purpose. When I used a regular coffee cup, I spilled some pouring into the chiller every time. That was an easy fix, and if your pouring from a coffee carafe, that will not be an issue. Buy it! I have used this everyday since purchase months ago, and it is still working great.

Great product
I have had this on my mind for a while , I was a bit skeptical at first but I was amazed with how well it works , I tried both coffee and a fizzy drink , it chilled them both really quick. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to drink iced coffee without dilution or just a drink or two that need cooling.

throw your money AT the Hyperchiller if you like instant cold drinks
Even though I heard mad reviews, I was skeptical of how effective this thing could be... well spending-money-friends, throw your money AT the Hyperchiller if you like instant cold drinks! Like really cold! Even with straight-from-the-Keurig hot coffee turned ice cold within a minute! The only thing is, you can't do a spurr of the moment drinks and it only works on 1. So if you're a mega fan of iced coffee or iced tea and don't want to dilute it with ice, get more than 1 of these babies. I know I'll be buying a second one! Reason is, you need the water within the isolated layers to freeze for it to work. It is SUPER effective though! I was also skeptical about the "put it straight under the Keurig thing". I was afraid that it wouldn't be able to handle the flow of the hot coffee pouring out straight from the machine... but nope, no oopsies! The coffee just went in without any splashes or overspills and straight in. Lightly swirl for a minute and voilà! Instant iced coffee to pour into your favorite cup (also spill free pouring!) So yummy! And zero dilution! Just 100% coffee taste. It's amazing when you open up the hyperchiller afterwards because most of the water between the layers is completely melted back to water! That WAS pretty hot! Also super super easy to clean. Take it apart, put it in the dishwasher and done. Putting it back together, including filling the layers with water takes less than a minute. Hassle-free. Definitely recommend and buying a 2nd one. Best way out there to get that hot coffee turned ice cold in seconds without any funny taste.

Works great
Follow the instructions and it does exactly what it says. They are big and take up a lot of room in the freezer, but if you have the space they are great at quickly cooling hot liquids
