Well built
I have yet to have a power outage to really test it under the emergency conditions I bought it for, but I like it so far. Its well built. I like the propane/ gas options. When a area is out of power a few days supplies are sparratic and hard to get. I am using propane as my primary fuel for it to spare the carb the gum up.

Good Value
A decent generator with a Generac engine for less money than a equal sized HF model. The Powermate is made by Generac. When I found out the Generac generator was made in China, I figured I'd buy their discount brand for about half the price.

Difficult Warranty Claim Procedure
This generator comes with electric start, and started right up the first time. However, the electric start never worked again. Took it in to an authorized repair center for repair. They kept it for six months and then told me the parts needed to do the repair were no longer available. They refused to submit a warranty claim for me. I called Generac and they told me a warranty claim can only be initiated by an authorized claim center. Now it's up to me to find another repair center which will submit a claim for me.
