why is it priced so high?

For roughly $4/bottle, it’s not that bad of a price, considering potential gas used and wandering through store aisles. I chose to “pick my battle” as I’ve seen prices much worse. Not having to pay for shipping helps tremendously.

This is made in the USA. GOJO Industries is in Akron, OH.

Should the bottles come wrapped in plastic like some of the pictures in the reviews?

Yes my case of 12 had 2 sets of 6 bottles wrapped together in plastic. It came in a box from the manufacturer.
