Great product that I will definitely purchase again.
This stuff is amazing! I do not like bugs, so I am always looking to add extra protection to the exterior of our home to prevent them. We put this out and did not see anymore around at all! We used the duster around the exterior of our home and immediately saw results! Centipedes, spiders, water bugs, etc.

as advertised, but
This appears to be high quality stuff. Ants avoid it, as do many other insects. apparently it cuts up their exoskeleton and they dehydrate (yum). The odd thing is it appears to have no affect on our (possibly mutant) spiders. In fact I'm looking at one now that has been living in our skylight, coated in DE, It appears unharmed and has been over 3 weeks. It may be another generation of spiders living happily but still covered with DE.

Natural and it Works!
After searching the Internet for flea control I discovered diatomaceous earth and found this product at the local garden store. To make it short, "it works!" While on vacation, we put our Golden Retrievers in the house on guard duty only to discover they had fleas. It did take some patience to get rid of them completely, but we haven't seen one in months. I sprinkled the dust around the rooms and let it sit overnight and then vacuumed it up the next day. I did this twice and then left some dust along the base of the walls. Make sure you do your own research before applying, the dust can be harmful to breath. It also expelled the cave crickets in the basement. I simply added a tablespoon of Natural Guard to a quart sprayer full of water and used it on the basement walls. We're bug free!

It's okay. It works a little slow, but ...
It's okay. It works a little slow, but it does get the job done!

has a sulphurous poison smell - not pure DE
I own this product and use it to kill fire ants. It definitely is not pure DE, and the additives have a sulfurous unpleasant smell that is similar to ant poison. I try to not breath it in. It is supposed to be applied in fine layers, but I don't know how I would do this safely (very fine particles get airborne instantly), so I apply with a scoop.
