LEGO Star Wars Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter (8093)

My 10 year old nephew said this was the best lego set he had ever built and he has several sets! My 16 year old son helped pick it out and said he chose this one because the more parts the better!

I bought this toy for my Grandson for his birthday. Both he, and his brother are heavily into Star Wars Lego's. He had it put together rith away and was playing with it most of the day. He was extremely proud that he had assembled it by himself.

I've been looking forward to this set for months, and it's met my expectations perfectly. The wings are solidly connected, and the color scheme works wonderfully-- it ends up looking very sharp and crisp. My only real complaint is about the stickers, and that's more a personal issue than any issue against the set itself. Plo Koon's head is a unique feature I've never seen before on a LEGO set; a soft rubber mold rather than a sturdy plastic shape. Plo's one of my favorite Jedi, and I'm glad the devotion to show-accurate features moved them to make a uniquely alien head for him.

My son loves all things star wars and star wars legos. This starfighter was fun for him to build and he was able to put it together expertly in 30 minutes.

Legos are always the right gift for a little boy. Bought the Star Wars Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter set for my nephew as a Christmas present. He'll have hours of fun assembling the kit and years of enjoyment admiring the skill of his handiwork.

I purchased this as a gift for my 8 year old son (loves Star Wars). These ships are soooo expensive and not extremely large once put together. If you lose one piece, it may not be able to be assembled correctly. It's fun to build as long as all of the pieces are there. Maybe 8 is too young, but I have older boys as well and they also have trouble keeping the ships together once it's built. It feels more like a collectors item than a toy for kids. I am not a fan of this toy, but my kids love legos. I just wish they weren't so pricey or that they held together better.

Opened the box to build.. the Plo Koon mini figure torso was cracked on both sides so it wouldn’t stay on the legs. Otherwise the build was enjoyable. But the mini figure being broken ruined the purchase.
