Velcro sticks to your shirt, can't access pocket with one hand, bottles are in the way of your elbows

I was really excited about this, but when it arrived I was disappointed. Three main reasons: (1) the "sticky" side of the velcro (as opposed to the soft side) is on the outside of the belt. So if you don't have it tightened all the way where no velcro shows, the velcro sticks to your top - with performance fabric, that means it essentially ruins your top. For me, it was an expensive sports bra combo piece. I measured, and it means you have to have it at lease 32 inches or tighter. I'm a size 8-10, and would think that would be plenty of room, but with my shorts and sports bras or whatever (and it's summer, not sweatshirts yet), I had to have it really high on my waist, when I would have preferred it to be a little lower on my hips. (2) the pocket in the front cannot be accessed with one hand because it isn't secured to the belt at the bottom of the pocket. Using both hands to have to open the pocket while trying to get your energy beans or gum or phone or whatever is really a big pain and definitely not something you want to deal with on long runs. (3) the water bottles are spaced so far apart that my elbows kept clipping them when I jogged, regardless of whether I had them on my front or back. Again, not something you want to deal with on a long run. I'm sending my back.

I like to wear mine low on the hips but I ...

I've been running with holding a water bottle for several months but since I plan on doing much longer runs decided to get a belt. It felt awkward at first but after about 1/2 mile it didn't bother me at all. I'm sure all those extra caps will come in handy! I noticed when reading reviews for other belts that they were often too big for some women. This one had a smaller waist size. I like to wear mine low on the hips but I think a larger belt might not have worked. Though it is a matter of preference I found I like the pouch in the back. I also like that the pouch is divided. Keeps phone separate from other items.

Great deal for a mid-distance belt

Used it for marathon training last year. The bottles worked well and did not leak. The pouch was big enough for my phone and a couple of gels. No headphone jack opening, but I usually use a separate band if I want to listen to something on the phone. Did get a little bit of chafing wherever I put the pouch part, but with the right lube and a tucked in shirt it still worked alright. Not quite as effective as the vests, but it's a great little belt for the price.

Bottles Stunk of Chemicals

Overall I felt the quality seemed a bit cheap. Staring with the Velcro belt, which I guess can be a personal preference, I was surprised it was a bit rigid without any sort of elastic or flexibility. The inside of the bottles emitted a real bad chemical odor. Did not feel comfortable drinking from them. For that matter the whole belt also smelled of chemicals. I returned the belt. I bought instead a Nathan. Im very happy with that.

Velcro flaw

I like the belt. It comes in handy, not only for running, but also for working in the yard, etc. However, the only flaw i found with the belt is the backward positioning of the velcro; because the "sticky" part of the velcro is facing your clothes, it will totally ruin your workout clothes. Better wear a simple t-shirt with this belt!

Not a good buy

The product is bulky and it looks very cheap. The brocket was advised for iPhone 6 and 7plus but in reality, it is just too tight for a 7 plus. I have a very light cover and still unable to fit in. Overall, it was not a good buy.

Great for the long distances.

It fits comfortably and does not chafe. I like that I can adjust the Velcro to have it sit lower on my hips. The pack is large enough to fit my phone and gu as well as my key fob!

bottles are too large but i have some from my other belt that work fine for me. belt is wonderful fit , snug and doesn't float around my waist. that is what i was looking for.
