Great liner between counter and stove
This product is perfect for the little gap between the edge of the counter and the edge of the stove. Its always just 1 or so wide. Hard to find something to cover the area up without looking like an after thought or something. These strips are perfect. They stand up the heat, and they hold their shape. Easy to clean with dish soap and water. You can cut them into the needed lengths. I never knew products like this existed. Great stuff. Worked for me, recommend it

Highly recommend this product, works great
Exactly what I needed. We have a slide in range and there’s a gap on the side I always take food off the pan and move them to a plate or platter. It’s the only way the range fits in its area. I’m always afraid I’ll drop food down the side of the range. This gap cover does just what it says, covers the gap and matches perfectly with the stainless top to my range. Easy install too. Highly recommend

Works well
Bought these as we have a decent gap. Easy to cut to size needed. Cleaning is simple with just a wet rag. Does good at keeping stuff from falling in crack. It does move around quite a bit which is why the four stars. But we did grab some electrical tape to help. Overall a good buy

Do the trick, ok next to gas stove, blend in
After having a problem with a third-part seller (see below) I reordered these gap covers and made sure that I was ordering directly from Linda's Essentials. The covers arrived quickly and were packaged flat - the covers were folded over just once, in the middle but not creased. I have thought about ordering gap covers for years, not sure why it took so long. These do the trick of preventing food from falling into the gap between the cabinet/counter and the stove. My husband appreciates that since he's the one who moves the stove out for cleaning. I do find though that the covers shift a little and I have to reset them in place but they have not fallen down between my stove and cabinet. I should note that my counters are higher than the stove top so the gap covers sit at a bit of an angle, and my gap might be a little bigger than other's have. The gap covers probably do better if the stove and counter are more evenly aligned. Still, they definitely serve the purpose of preventing food from falling down into that gap and I'm glad to finally have gotten them. I thought I would notice them but once I set them in place and admired them, they kind of disappeared. I really don't notice them being there which to me is a good thing. We have a gas stove and so far (about 2 weeks) they seem unaffected by that heat. I definitely recommend them. Original Seller Experience: I originally purchased these from a third-party seller. I didn't look at the Sold By notation on the far right. I am normally careful to observe whether a product is being fulfilled by Amazon and who the seller is if someone other than Amazon. Somehow I didn't notice this when I placed this order and what I got was sold and shipped by Kiddro. I was sent the wrong color and wrong size. I contacted them and they apologized and said the one I ordered was out of stock and that they would send me a mailing label to return the wrong set. After almost a month, no return label. I contacted Amazon for assistance. They said they would contact the vendor and if I hadn't heard from them in two days, to contact Amazon again for a refund. No reply from the vendor after 4 days so I contacted Amazon and they said they would apply their A-Z Guarantee and I was approved for a refund. I went into my orders and left "Awful" feedback for the vendor with a comment explaining why. I rarely leave bad feedback for any vendor, it's never my intent to hurt someone's business, but they sent me the wrong product and kept my money even after I contacted them. So... Magically, the vendor popped up and sent me a message saying that they issued me a refund and I didn't need to return the wrong gap covers. I think that Amazon must have notified them again that they were going to refund me so the vendor jumped to attention. That's good, but now I'm getting messages (3) from them telling me that it's unfair that I left them bad feedback and asking me to remove it. Unfair? Haha! Seriously? They had a month - a month! - to amend this. My husband and I order from Amazon a few times a week and we have things on subscription (e.g., cat food). We order from Amazon because we know that we can rely on getting our stuff and we can easily return something if required, and we are refunded promptly when due. I don't have time to mess around trying to get a vendor to refund me for their mistake. I requested it and they said they'd send the label. I was perfectly happy to repackage their product and return it to them with their prepaid return label, but they never sent it. Now they are upset with me. Hmmm. Honestly, I was going to change their feedback from 1 star to 3 stars and add to my comment to further explain what happened, but I see now that I can't change seller feedback. Forgot about that but I stand by my original rating. If they had communicated with me about a delay in sending the label, or whatever, different story. They didn't though and now they want me to remove my feedback altogether. I'm not going to though. I rely on other customer's product and seller reviews and I think my situation is something others should know about too when deciding whether to order from someone other than Amazon direct. This situation doesn't affect my review of the product itself, of course. Linda's Essentials/Amazon handled my order perfectly and I think the product is handy.

Best house purchase
These things are great! First thing I told myself when I saw all the disgusting stuff between the oven and counter top when they replaced my oven in my apartment was that if I ever got a house, I was buying gap covers. Well I got a house and these gap covers have been amazing!!!! Super easy set up. The size I bought was a bit long but I was able to cut them to size very easily. Easy clean up, great suction to both surfaces that keeps liquid spills out too! They can get a little hot if you run the oven a long time but have stayed intact as far as I can tell. Highest temp I've ran my oven was 425 Fahrenheit and they are still doing great.

Try, try, try again.....
This is a good quality product. Heavy not flimsy. No warping. Plenty of extra to cut to fit. But I have a slight lip from my stove to my counter top. The ridge that fits into that gap is a tad short and doesn't stay down in the gap. I'll get it in, front to back, all sealed and set. Then within 24 hours it will slow creep out and just be laying between the stove and counter top. I'll reset it and press it down in ....... happens again, over and over. When it is in place, it's perfect and does the job as it should. Next day.......start all over again. I have tried every method under the sun to get it tight and really set into that gap but it always creeps out. I had high hopes for this product but am disappointed. May you have better luck with it than I did.

Such a well thought out product!
First off, this solves the obvious issue of food and drippings getting caught in the cracks. Absolutely NOBODY wants to pull the stove out and clean, but EVERYBODY drops food in there sometimes. While not a 100% perfect product, I believe it’s as good as you can get for this purpose without going to the factiry and making it yourself with perfectly precise measurements. It’s definitely a one-size fits most product. Pros: It’s a better material than it looks in the pics, in my opinion. I was worried it was going to be made of that stiff sticky silicon but it’s actually thin and smooth, super easy to wipe clean. It also tucks nicely into the gap, and the underside is a shiny silicon that sort of “adheres” to whatever it’s not. Not like sticking to it, more like clinging to it so that it doesn’t move around. And let me tell you, it definitely stays in place! I ordered the longer strips for my stove and cut the back part so that it can slip deeper back there. And I ordered the shorter strips for the ginormous gap between my fridge and counters (thanks, contractors with weird building plans). I really thought it wouldn’t be wide enough for that gap, but it sticks right up on the side of my fridge and fills it perfectly. Keep in mind, I was still within the gap size limits on the instructions, but just barely! Cons: it can take some time to nestle it into its proper place, especially if you have wider gaps to fill or uneven surfaces. As mentioned before, I also had to trim part of the strip so make it extend behind my stove. Not a huge deal, but it would be really nice if they somehow made it easier to get a good fit for that spot in particular. You very well could just forego that part altogether but the back of my stove has a pretty big gap so I’d prefer to be safe rather than sorry. While not a 100% perfect product, I believe it’s as good as you can get for this purpose without going to the factory and making it yourself with perfectly precise measurements. It’s definitely a one-size fits most product.

UPDATED: 09-06-25 BEST When Counter Height is Level with Range!!
Pros/Cons: I took a chance on this because there are mixed reviews as to counter height versus stove and/or ranges being different heights. Mine was one inch lower than the countertop height so I had hoped it would work. Didn't in my case, but I'm sure that it would work for people that do NOT have height differences. Not sticky, the ease of using it is simple, and yes, you can cut it with scissors to size assuming you have even spaces to work with. I am elderly and there is no one here that is willing to help me lift it to see if the entire appliance has little feet that could be raised another inch. I have rented here for 17 years and the maintenance man most likely has already done this many years ago, which is why I'm stuck with it. Not the fault of the seller (5 stars for Linda), but I'm giving my experience 3 stars for other folks who may have the same issue. I'm glad I tried it and there is a 30 day money-back guarantee that the Seller honors with no questions asked. You just can't beat that kind of customer service. Good Luck! UPDATED ON 09-06-25: I am happy to report that I was able to use these for my oven range after all because I couldn't find anyone who needed them and I hate discarding perfectly fine items that just didn't work for my specific position or need. So, with nothing to lose, I took the scissors and cut off both sides of the silicone to barely a ribbon width leaving just the part that fits down between the gap of oven and counter. It worked! Not perfect, but much better than no protection at all. Now I have a chance to wipe up any drips before it runs down the sides of my standalone oven. I have raised it from 3 stars to 5 stars because it deserves that now. I can barely see it because it matches perfectly with the white stove, and abuts below the countertop that is an inch higher. I've used it for several days like this and it stays in place to wipe it down with a sponge. If you are able to cut a straight line with scissors, and have a similar situation, it's definitely worth a try!

A practical, inexpensive solution that does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Perfect solution for the gap beside the cooker! I bought these silicone gap covers to stop crumbs, food, and spills disappearing down the side of my cooker, and they've worked brilliantly. They were incredibly easy to install – literally just laid them in place and they fitted perfectly. The silicone feels good quality, stays put without slipping, and blends in nicely with the worktop and cooker. Cleaning is simple too; just wipe them down or remove them for a quick wash. Such a simple product, but it has made a big difference in keeping my kitchen cleaner and saving me from constantly fishing bits out of the gap. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a gap beside their cooker.

Tidy addition for a stove gap
I bought these silicone gap covers to go between my oven and the bench, and they’ve been such a simple but effective addition. They catch all the little food spills and crumbs that would normally fall down the gap, which has made cleaning upmuch easier. They also make the area look more finished and tidy. Installation was really easy, just slide them into place, and they’re just as easy to remove when it’s time to clean. Overall, a great little product that does exactly what it’s meant to.
