Pockets-ish, don't use size chart
The jacket is amazing. So amazing in fact that my partner immediately ordered the mens version for himself. We were able to fit everything from his travel bag he had just packed for a 4-day/3-night work trip, including his tablet, dopp kit (with electric razor and electric toothbrush), medications, all his cords, and clothes. It was a bit bulky, but with some better planning, its totally feasible that he could travel with no luggage and only the jacket. 30 pockets is a bit of a stretch. Sure, there are 30 pockets, but they are counting the teeny tiny little pocket no bigger than a quarter inside the hand pocket, and the tiny key pouch in the back, amount others, as pockets. It does have a lot of useful pockets tho. I really like the clear phone pocket. You can actually just pull the jacket out and look down at your notification to see if its worth dealing with, or click the screen to skip a song or pause your podcast without ever removing it from the pouch. The channeling that allows you to run cords throughout the entire jacket is cool, too. This lets you balance weight also, for instance, if you want to carry an external battery to charge your phone, you can put it on one side, and run the cable thru the inside of the jacket to the other side to plug it in to your tablet or phone. You could also do this with wired headphones. There's a pocket for glasses that has a microfiber towel tethered into it, and on the towel, it explains where different pockets are located, and what their intended use is. The outer chest pockets allow for concealed carry on either side, so its good for righties and lefties. There is also velcro and some Molly straps for customizing the insides of those pockets. But even if you don't carry, the front chest pockets can be very useful. If you hip carry, the sides unzip for easy access without having to lift the whole side of the jacket. Your imagination is the only limit for what you can put in these pockets. My only issue is the sizing. I am normally a L or XL. I used the size chart to select my size, which actually put me in a 3X. I was shocked, and wavered a bit on what to do, but there was that "only 2 left in stock" alert on the item page, so I ordered based on the companies recommendation. Its way huge. Not just huge around, but long in the jacket, and very long in the sleeves. I am 5'8", 195, and again, a L or XL. I messaged the seller and asked about this and they said they do this to allow for the bulk that is added when you fill the pockets. Even with all the pockets full from our test, it is way big. Nothing makes the sleeves shorter. It wasn't any less baggy once zipped. I could maybe be okay with a 2X if I intended on filling it up, but I imagine an XL would be about right based on my normal sizing. Keep this in mind when ordering - their fit as far as ordering your usual letter is more accurate than using their size chart. I also have to agree with the other reviewer - for a $400 jacket, their presentation is lacking. Comes folded up in a basic plastic bag, one thats not even resealable. Would have been nice if it came in a bag that I could at least use to store it during the off-season. Speaking of seasons - its a very warm jacket, even not using the pockets at all, this would make a great jacket for most of winter depending on where you are.

Pricey but very cool jacket.
I was previously unaware of SCOTTeVEST and have since discovered that they have quite a following. This Women's EDC Jacket is my introduction to the brand.Firstly, this jacket is pricey! It's currently listed for $399 at the time of this review. But, it is truly uniquely designed and I haven't come across another jacket quite like it.This is dubbed the "EDC Jacket" and it is just that. The selling point is its multitude of pockets to stash everything from a firearm to an iPad. The layout is well thought out and highly functional. They've really thought of everything - there are even side zips for holster access.Aside from the engineering, the jacket itself is excellent quality. It's made of thick and water repellent durable fabric. It's warm and comfortable to wear. It comes in any color you like, as long as it's black!A note on sizing. For reference, I am 5'5" tall 110 lbs 30D with a straight body shape and long limbs with a short torso. I typically wear a size 0 or XS. The SCOTTeVEST size chart puts my measurements within the XS range. But, the XS was not offered at the time so I took a chance on the Small. The Small is a tiny bit oversized on me but I'm happy with the fit, it allows for layering underneath and the room that things in the pocket take up. If now given a choice between the two sizes, I'd choose the Small. So, if you're between sizes I'd recommend sizing up.Iām really happy with this EDC Jacket from SCOTTeVEST and highly recommend it!

Sets the bar on quality
What can I say? This jacket is in a class of it's own. The quality is beyond compare! I bought this one for my girlfriend after purchasing the male version for myself and was blown away by it's many compartments and pockets. You would think it to be bulky but the quality of engineering is out of this world and fits with a slimming look hiding any idea that it could hold so many treasures. Very well done.

Purse and Jacket in One!
Pros:š So many pockets in various sizes - Easy Organization.š The pockets are labeled to make it even easier.š This jacket is really convenient for travelling: Purse free and hands free.š Very well constructed and seems good for even more severe weather.š Machine washable.š Stylish and not too bulky, especially considering how much this jacket can hold.Cons:š Although the exterior of the jacket is fast drying, the interior took a few days to completely dry when line dried as suggested (I line dried the jacket inside out).Size: I normally choose size S or M for jackets: Size S for mostly lighter wear and size M to accommodate potentially heavier clothing.I'm glad I chose size M for this jacket, except that the sleeves were a little longer than expected. In addition, the elastic around the wrists were a little looser and did not provide a tight fit.

30 pockets!
I've noted before that I don't carry a purse or bag, and so I'm always looking for clothing that has lots of pockets. Well, I hit the mother lode here with this splendid SCOTTeVEST jacket. It has safe pockets for everything I ever wanted to carry with me, and MORE! There is room for my phone, an iPad, a water bottle, and any meds I'd like to keep close in a pocket, along with keys, change, and a bills, too. I even found a place for my hairbrush. By the way, even when loaded up with these things I've mentioned, I don't look like a little bear! I'm 5'2", and the jacket fits me well. What a great product. I've shortened the sleeves a little bit since I usually wear petite sizes, but that was a quick job, and now the jacket is perfect for me.
