Great Bag
I love the bag, but it was missing the New York patch. May seem small or petty, but I wanted that patch too.

Superb backpack and an amazing value
Switched to using this full-time over another backpack a few months ago. Really REALLY happy with the organization I've got. Multiple various-height pockets are the real winner. The back laptop compartment is huge and the tablet pocket holds my stack of phones for work just fine along with a laptop and a serious bundle of cables with room to spare. The 2nd compartment is spacey too and holds a bluetooth keyboard, mini first aid kit, a few juggling balls, and basic toiletries. I don't really use the compartment that's covered by the front easy-access pocket - but I don't really need it. I have thrown an outfit or two in there when traveling and it is nice to have that space without any pockets because otherwise I'd be compelled to organize things in there :) The flippable front pocket that covers that bit is super useful, keep my most-used cards in there and some other small trinkets. The front pocket holds notebook, pen, markers, wallet, business cards, USB battery pack, backup headphones, and a couple other small items. Interior of all pockets is a glorious bright yellow which makes it SO easy to find that tiny stupid USB wifi adapter that would have been lost forever in my old all-black backpack. So yeah, REALLY pleased with the compartments and pockets here. The loops on the outside are great too I've got carabiners and hand sanitizer holders strung up on them, and a few pins/badges on some of the thicker top bits. Still using the NEW YORK velcro it came with, though I'm not from there nor living there now...... gotta replace that.Quality overall seems very good. Not a single rip or tear visible at all and I take this thing with me everywhere (basically) every day so it's moving around a lot and with quite a lot in it. Zippers still great. Various straps I guess could tighten the whole thing up but I don't use them much, though I do keep the bottom tightened up a bit to prevent gravity from taking over and making it all lumpy on the bottom. The pockets on the side are the only annoying part. The one on the left (looking at the picture) has multiple layers but they are SO tiny and thin you'd struggle to get much in there. I stuck a couple large markers and in one and can't get much more in any of them. The one on the RIGHT is a mesh pocket you'd think would hold a water bottle but there's NO way, unless your water bottle is only 1" in diameter lol. It just isn't large enough. MAYBE you could force a glass soda bottle in there upside down - but that'd be stupid. So basically don't use it like that. Hang your water bottle from a loop with a carabiner. I use this right-side mesh pocket to hold a rolled-up poncho and a tiny bottle of sunscreen. Don't see much more use for it than that.Shoulder straps no complaints they hold up even though I usually just use only one side. No real discomfort. The chest buckle is a welcome addition on hikes, amazing how shifting the weight with that can free your shoulders and change your pace.Overall - this is perfect for me. I needed just as much organization as it offers, which is huge. Construction is very very good, no issues at all yet. Definitely would recommend this over something more crazily expensive since it's probably going to do everything you need.

I desperately wanted to like this bag, but small errors add up to disappointment.
I've been looking everywhere for the perfect lightweight laptop bag for meetings and domestic air travel. I so much wanted to give this bag a positive review, but there are just too many silly and small mistakes that keep me from doing so.I purchased this bag for the following reasons:Bright interior to find items: CheckTop pocket to quickly grab small items: CheckLuggage handle loop on the back: CheckWater bottle pouch: CheckSeparate laptop and tablet pouches: CheckMOLLE system to temporarily add more storage: CheckDurable: CheckDoesn't look like an obvious laptop bag: CheckPros:The Solo Altitude had some appealing features. The yellow interior does very well to help me find these smaller items as well, which is handy. The ability to drop the bag onto a luggage handle is a big plus as this is how I mostly move around the airport. The laptop and tablet pouches are well padded and easy to access.Durability seems to deliver. I would expect this bag to have a long life. The padding on the back and straps are comfortable for multiple hours.Cons:I was confident that this bag checked all the boxes above, so how could it get a 3-star review? Some simple things are silly errors like the pen pockets on the inside being too shallow to actually fit a normal sized pen down to the clip of the pen. This causes pens to easily slide out of their pen pockets. A tad deeper of pen pockets would have avoided this issue all-together. Other interior pockets are very loose and don't have a top flap. This combined means that if you don't keep the bag upright at all times, items very easily slide out of their smaller interior pockets and end up at the bottom of the bag.The smaller top pouch was a big requirement of mine so I can quickly grab something small when in a meeting. The problem is that it's position on the bag and having it as a 'flap' means that anything with any heft or bulk to it means that pocket is flopping around everywhere. My laptop charger for example will cause the pocket to flop around a lot. If I open any pouches, it immediately weighs down the top front of the bag pulling the rest of the bag open. Other bags that I have used have this top pocket in a way where it doesn't do this. It got very annoying really fast. The clasp on the front is necessary to keep the flopping of the top pocket to a minimum, but this really restricts access to the lower pocket. Since I have to keep my heavier smaller items in the bottom pocket like my laptop charger to keep the top pocket from flopping around, I no longer have quick access to those items.Another gripe is that the elastic for the water bottle pocket on the side barely fits a normal water bottle. If you have your own bottle that has a diameter even slightly bigger than a normal 20oz. bottle, then it likely will not fit. I'm not sure why they didn't just make it a bit bigger. The MOLLE straps toward the sides don't actually sit toward the sides unless the bag is completely and perfectly full of items. If not, they sit more toward the front and also droop down making them very impractical. They are also set to require horizontal straps whereas most all thin and tall pouches require vertical, which makes these mostly useless. The MOLLE straps toward the bottom are nearly useless as this prevents the bag from being set down flat. This leaves the MOLLE straps on the front which are very far apart and therefore only fit a handful of pouches. Don't even consider the MOLLE on the top pouch for the flopping reasons described above.Lastly, while there are side straps that you can tighten to bag to make it smaller when emptier, these straps are very low on the bag. This means that they don't really tighten up the bag. Anything bulky sitting at the bottom of the bag is likely to simply get pushed upward instead of just tightening up in the bag. They would either need to raise these straps a bit or have a 2nd set if you actually wanted to use them to thin out the bag.Overall, I wanted to like this bag since it had all the features I was looking for, but some design decisions just went to show how little attention they paid to the details.

Great Bag to have
I really do love this bag. It's great for traveling, especially with the back strap for rolling on a carry on.The bag is not bulky, but has great compartments. It's durable and looks good. I'm glad I picked it up. I use it daily for work, and take it with me on travel and trips

Designer forgot a few things, but overall a nice pack.
I like the size and style of this backpack. So much that I was willing to overlook some obvious flaws. There is webbing one one side that might be considered a water bottle holder but it is a FAR cray from anything useful. Really makes me wonder what the developers were thinking. The other side has some pockets? that don't see to be good for much more than some small thin items. Again, why? The main compartments are nice and the main reason I got the pack, a nice laptop section, a middle section for whatever, and a section that I thought was only small but goes the length of the pack, this is the section under the FLAP that is hooked with the clip a nice touch but I might have designed it differently. Overall a nice pack for traveling across the earth which I do often enough.

Best backpack I’ve ever owned.
I fly on avg 2-4 flights per week. This bag is great in everyway. Wonderful sleeve that goes over my carryon (I never check luggage, so this makes it easy.). I travel a a 15” laptop and iPad Pro in a case. Both got well. Great water bottle holder pocket. The yellow liner makes it easier to find things. I love the clip inside the smaller compartment As soon as I get to the airport I put my keys on it to ensure I don’t lose them.

Poor quality
I purchased this backpack to carry my laptop at school. The pack was never overloaded, mostly just carrying my laptop, power cord, pad of paper and maybe a lunch.Three months after daily use, the seam for the padding on a shoulder padding began to separate. A couple weeks later the seams on the pack itself began to degrade.I was not rough on this pack as it was my primary carrier for my laptop. It was a comfortable pack and I liked the style.I'm disappointed the it could not last a single semester before falling apart

Excelente
