Discord didn’t work like it said it was supposed to so I can’t get my PlayStation two to come on on my TV. I have a smart TV and I plugged discord into the PlayStation two and into the HDMI and it wouldn’t work.

This works perfect with my brand new 75" Samsung QN90D. Yes, it is not High def, I probably need to change the video settings for 1080P, not sure if I can do that but, for what it is, it works really well. It's good enough to pay a 2009 game on a 2024 TV. I can't complain about that. My PS2 is Alive once more.

PlayStation 2 works. However new tv’s are not compatible. Screen is to dark. All picture settings on tv, and console are turned to the brightest possible. All fine tuning also. Still to dark to enjoy playing.

No luck with picture. I have sound but it’s making buzzing feedback. It’s plugged into my receiver and not tv directly. That shouldn’t matter though. Sad with purchase. Ok got it work. Cable wasn’t plugged all the way on the hdmi connection. So the hdmi is just an adapter. It is dark and blurry

Works really well but I accidentally bought this for my PS3 and it doesn't connect all the way in in the back of the PS3 but it's enough that it actually still works. Been playing on it without any problems so far and it also does work on my PS2 so even better. I do wish the location to power it was in a different spot since if you have other cables connected to the monitor it will get in the way.

If you do not have a CRT television, or if you have no other way of connecting your Playstation to an HD T.V., then this will work. It is the cheapest option I have seen. My HD T.V. does have A.V. input, but it looks a little worse playing the Playstation through the A.V. connection. So this still might be worth it for you. The good: - I don't notice any lag. I notice a lot of lag through the AV ports on my TV. - It looks ok. The bad: - Unless your TV has an option to select 4:3 aspect ratio, this is going to displa your game in a way so that it is stretched. - It does not brighten the picture anymore than if you use the AV connection in your HD TV, if you have one. On my TV, Alien Trilogy, Alien Resurrection, Parasite Eve, and some other games, are too dark for the TV to display any detail. If the game looks too dark through your AV connection on your HD TV, then it will probably look too dark through this. - The image quality is not sharp at all. This is just an HD from component cable signal converter. It uses the component cable that has one of those headphone connectors. - It gets hot. I don't know if that's bad. Maybe it'll last, maybe it won't. I don't know. It was cheap, so I don't really care. To sum it all up: Having said all that, if you can wait a while, and save your money to get one of the more expensive ones, then I think that's a better idea. I didn't see any reviews for this, so I got it to see if it was a good deal. This works for me ok. I'm not disappointed, since it only cost like 17 bucks. I'm actually using it, and it is better than just using the AV cables on my HD TV. But I'm definitely getting a better one later. I feel like I got what I paid for.

I will update when we have it longer because most previous products we have purchased before this one have stopped working within a few weeks or months. So far it works well but seller did not package safely. It comes in a resealable pouch with sharp staples and my 11 year old poked himself as soon as he removed the bag from the Amazon packaging Please do better sellers. Adults are not the only ones opening packages, and this is unsafe for any age young or old.
