Rubbermaid Victory Jug Water Cooler, 1/2-gallon, Blue

No leaks, no odor, tight-fitting cap, good size for bringing to work each day, retains cold. After filling with ice then adding water, half of ice was still frozen after several hours. In my case, having ice cold water eliminates drinking cold sodas for health reasons. The cap and handle seem sturdy, but we'll see how it holds up to everyday use (inexpensive to replace in any case if not under warranty).

This jug is the worst. I bought it so I could drink some mixer while floating down the river. Needless to say, this didn't even get out of the house. Upon opening the package the jug seemed cheap, but I expected that at $9. My issue main issues arose when I tried to fill up the jug to test it out. I couldn't for the life of me get the lid off. After about 10 mintues of trying I managed to get it off. And I am far from a weakling. Then once I finally filled it up with water and took a drink out of it, it drained water all down my shirt through the threads of the jug. And then the lid was once again fused on. Would not purchase again and is too cheap to deal with returning. Ended up buying a Bubba for $18. That thing is awesome.

Like every jug i've owned, after a few uses this thing is leaking a bit from where the lid twists on. The spout is also a little tough for my 9 yr old son to open sometimes, but it does stay cold for long periods of time.

Holds good amount of water and keeps it cold well. However, the top is fairly difficult to attach securely, so it leaks when drinking or if it tips over.

We got two of these and they were constantly leaking. At one point I thought I was able to tighten the lids enough to keep them from leaking but they were still leaking! I got a smaller version of these in a different brand and they never leak and I noticed the lids of the other brand have a rubber ring inside the lid where these do not have that and I'm assuming that's why they leak so bad.

This is perfect for athletes to carry on and off baseball fields and helps to insure water is consumed. Better then bottle water.

Use this for my husband to take ice water to work. Our old one lasted for many years..finally needed new one..this is an improvement, which is saying alot!

We needed a water jug for my son's soccer practices and games. I bought a one-gallon jug made by Coleman, but it was too big. I returned it and purchased this half gallon size. It is terrible. The first time I used it - it leaked all in the back of my car. I figured I had put the top on wrong. The next time, I screwed the lid on very carefully. I kept the water jug with me so it wouldn't fall over. I got to soccer and it had filled my console with water just from tipping over. I am returning it. DO NOT BUY THIS - it is terrible.

This doesn't close well and leaks every time we use it.
