Many Features
I got this primarily as a test probe. In order to use it first place the cap/spacer on the end of the meter. You then screw in the test probe. If you do not insert the spacer 1st the probe will free spin. The probe works well at detecting voltage. When in DC mode you may flip the rocker up to apply power to a circuit or down for ground. The screen does turn red when positive voltage is detected and green when ground is. I have not used any of the other features but it’s good to know they are there and available for future use. This meter does give you more useful info for automotive use compared to a standard voltage meter and will definitely help you diagnose problems with circuits quicker. This unit is protected and if you plug it in incorrectly it will reset itself with no worries about changing a fuse. The storage case is big enough to keep everything together.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information.

Works as well as the expensive brands, nicer case and ergonomics
I lost my power probe in a tragic “I’ll bring it right back” accident and have been without one for a few years. For the price of this probe, I don’t see a reason to ever buy the name brand/original again. It has all of the features and I believe it’s a nicer piece all around.
