Oh what a relief it is to have a cooling fan!Most of the time I only use the low setting, but the higher settings give a powerful blast of cool air. It's not like 'air conditioning' but certainly the next best thing!Being disabled I needed something easy to use. This is. I use several ice packs with just sufficient water to keep the levels within the marked range. I remove them and replace with other freshely frozen packs when needed.It's a sizeable bit of kit but on wheels and for someone with normal mobility would be easy to manouvvre. I just love it.... did I mention... such a relief!!

PROS: Solid build, light, reasonable size and good looking appliance. Blends in the corner of any room. Simple and easy to use control panel and remote control which options are mirrored in 100%. Nice tinted display panel with soft blue backlight. Powerful fan even in the lowest 1st setting, 2nd & 3rd fan speeds are very strong. The partly removable back tank and ease of adding water and ice packs to it are the best feature comparing to competition, front water level visor is nice touch as well. Wind output temperature is very pleasant and with 2 small ice packs and half tank of cold water I’ve measured air flow at low fan speed at 21.8°C (photo attached). I’ll experiment with more ice packs later on. Do not expect 8°C to 12°C air output / flow temperature like in A/C unit as it’s not the case. You can also switch off “cooler” setting and just use it as powerful fan which is superb! 8 hours timer, swing - vertical (auto) and horizontal (manual) louvres are great. Humidifier and Ion modes appear to be working ok too. Unit is very higenic as the tank can be removed completely & cleaned very easily by safely releasing the small tank pump (held only by 2 screws). This is very useful feature if you want to keep the air flow and room free from odour as after some time if tank won’t get cleaned water will aventually get slimy...CONS: Unit is noisy even on the lowest fan and user mode settings. I guess it’s the price for that powerful fan. As it goes for use in the rest of the house and especially in large living room it’s awesome and then you really appreciate how strong the fan is. The only unnecessary features I’ve noticed so far in this unit are the 2nd & 3rd operating modes “natural wind” and “sleeping wind”. In my opinion all that happens when you turn them on is the starting and stopping of fan at irregular intervals which is actually very annoying and distracts you when you try to relax. For me the first mode “normal wind” is the best mode with most consistent sound and I stick to it as after couple of minutes you stop noticing the fan and just enjoy cool air. I recon that if designers would think it over a bit more and slow down the fan speed to almost silent running in the “sleeping wind” mode this appliance would be near to perfect design.Overall I think it’s a good value for money in this price range and if you are not bothered by a bit noisier fan and sound of dripping of water from the rear evaporator in to the tank which is noticeable especially when the Humidifier mode is on. If you don’t mind this noise then this air cooler unit may be what you are looking for. Regards.

Excellent machine, lot's of options that makes a difference. Very easy to use and not to noisy. The only down is, I wish it was either a warning light or sound when water level is low. Will buy again though.

I bought this because my lounge and bedroom get incredibly hot during hot weather. I have ceiling fans and tower fans but when it’s 30 degrees plus in there all they do is push hot air around. So I wanted something that would take the temperature down, even just a couple of degrees, to make it more bearable.This is extremely powerful as a fan, far better than a normal fan. But it doesn’t cool the temperature a largish room at all. That’s fine if you want it to sit in front of or to help you sleep at night, but if the room is very hot to start with, it doesn’t help.It’s no more noisy than a normal fan, and the noise of a fan doesn’t bother me when I’m trying to sleep anyway.I tried it in a smaller room (bedroom). A word of warning with this, it is a humidifier. In a smaller room it did actually drop the temperature by a couple of degrees BUT, even with the humidifier function turned off, it still raised the humidity which made the room feel even hotter than it was.I’m going to return it and I’ve ordered a proper air con unit which dehumidifies instead. If you want a VERY powerful fan, then this is your product. But if it’s lowering the temperature in a room, the only way to do that effectively is spend a bit more money and get an air con unit.

This is a good product as far as air coolers go. I found it easy to put together and use, it also had a very convenient section at the top where you can safely top it up and the water filters down to the bottom section. I also found it more effective if I put water in it from the freezer (obviously yet not frozen). 4* because the first one came damaged, but this was probably the courier's fault and the company promptly sent out a new one.
