ERP W10185982 Dryer Timer

This dryer timer--and its being available on Amazon--saved us hundreds of dollars in service call fees! It was so easy to order. My husband, who is not good on the computer, was able to do it. And he, who IS gifted in making household repairs, says it was easy to install, too. Also a huge consideration, it arrived very quickly, thanks to Prime! I was able to again dry our laundry; and his "honey do" list is now shorter. A win-win situation!

I had a repairman come to replace this part, which i didnt know what it was until he told me what it was and then he ordered the part so he could come to my house and fix my dryer. He was charging me $175 for parts and labor. We had a disagreement about me keeping the old part (he wanted an extra $15 to LET ME KEEP MY OLD PART!!!) So i told him to take out the new part he just put in and he gave me my money back. After he left i took a picture of the old part serial number and ordered my own. It cost me $30 only! Imagine that! I put it in myself and saved $145 + the $15 he wanted to charge for "letting me keep" the old part! The ERP stands for "exact replacement part" and this was just that! Yes i would absolutely order from this brand again!

I wasn't ready to replace a dryer for a bad timer so I went down the path of fixing it. Part was a like for like replacement and install took me 5 minutes (longer to find the right socket than install). Two weeks and 6 loads later dryer timer works well.

Got the part and put it in myself very easy no issues!! I was surprised it worked, when it was delivered the part was loose in the packaging. Nothing bad to say Other than tape your box shut before putting it inside Amazon package!

Fit and works perfect for my Whirlpool Model - WED4815EW1 No complaints and save me an insane amount of money. Thank you guys so much for staying down to earth and pricing your products to be affordable during these tough times.

I found the part number for my dryer through another site and found one much cheaper on Amazon. Only problem was that this item as I received it had a 120 volt motor to run the switch and my dryer uses a 220 volt motor. Be sure the voltage on the new motor matches the old or the sparks will fly!

Exact replacement, works as it should

Swapped out broken dial and good as new!

Seemed to work at first, and then stopped working intermittently. Also quite complicated to return and get a refund.
