Great price
Very good price and product I did need to hire someone to install it But we’ll worth it I found this item hard to find in local hardware stores I do recommend it

Sturdy to Step On
Sturdiness it has. A slider that you can step on and move with ease but not too much you can’t get the light just right. Ample cord but the sturdiness is most impressive.

Worked , then died.
I like the look and the design. It worked perfectly for about 2-3 weeks, then I came into my office the the light was off. I changed out the halogen bulb thinking it was dead. The light still didn't work. Sliding the dimmer off, then on did nothing. I removed the dimmer from the mix and the light worked. After a day or two I tried the light with the dimmer again and it worked... for about an hour or two, then shut off again. This time I slid the dimmer switch off then back on and the light came on (unexpectedly). It remained on for the rest of that work day (maybe 2-3 hours) until I turned it off. Then, the next day I turned it on and it shut off within an hour. I removed it and just started the return/refund process before my time for it expired. Very cheaply made.

Exactly what I needed until it suddenly stopped working :(
This replaced a dimmer switch for my torch lamp that had suddenly stopped working. It is the same as the one I replaced. Works like a charm! Three days ago it just decided to stop working...will have to look elsewhere. Unfortunately my return window has closed.
