EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 - GREAT for Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and light gaming at max settings! (1440p)
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2I have 2 main systems for editing and gaming. I film, record and produce advertisements, menu's, photo's, etc in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects software, RAW at 4K. My home/personal PC that this 1080 Ti SC2 is in includes the following...Asus Strix Z270-E motherboardIntel 7700K processor at 5Ghz32GB G.Skill TridentZ 3466Mhz C16 RAMSamsung 850 Evo 1TB SATA III Boot/OS/ProgramsSamsung 960 Evo 1TB NVME media/cacheARECA 1222 RAID controller with 8x Samsung 500GB 7200RPM HDD's in RAID 6 for game/misc filesTwin 4TB spinners in RAID 1 for work/project mass storageTwin Acer B276HUL 27" 1440P 60Hz with PIP, dual input, and pass-through outputCorsair HX850i PSUCorsair H100i AIO coolerEVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2This card replaced an MSI Armor+ OC GTX 1070 with 8GB VRAM. I did not need it, i wanted it, mostly to max out games at 60FPS, and also to upgrade my work/tv gaming system, which is a 7 year old i7 980X at 4Ghz, 24GB 1600Mhz RAM, Asus Rampage III Extreme, 850 Evo 500GB, twin 2TB spinners, and an LG 24" 1080P screen. The 1070 allows max settings at 1080P60, the 1080 Ti max settings at 1440P60 in either system.Next year, i will be upgrading to a 14 Core i9, 4K G-Sync 144Hz display (whenever they come out), and this 1080 Ti is basically for that build. The 7700K system will become my office/light work/light gaming/server.TL;DRIncredible performance, low temps, low noise, haven't gotten a solid overclock just yet, but fast enough out of the box.Pro'sNothing better for Adobe hardware CUDA accelerationFAST and overkill for 1440P, so should be good for 1-2 yearsRGB LED can be set to match temps, like the rest of my system fans, which on a 12 hour render is nice to be able to check at a glancePlethora of connection optionsQUIET and runs cool2 slot, not 2.5 slotLooks AWESOME and locked at 60Hz on a 4K Samsung HDR maxed out (mild/low AA)Con'sPricey, but if you want it, you want it.Overclocking attempts, though mild, have thus far netted very little extra performanceNot many waterblock options, but i stick with a Corsair H100i AIO and air for graphicsFor MOST games, at 1440P, the GTX 1070 was locked at 60FPS, so perhaps considera 1070 or GTX 1080

It's REALLY big. Seriously, make sure you have room!
The short version is that this card is really fast and it's pretty quiet but not as quiet as you would expect. It's really big so make sure you have room. Keep reading for more details. This is an absolute beast of a card. I only play at 1920x1080 with a 60hz monitor, this card is total overkill for that. Actually this card is overkill in general, it's overclocked to like 1950mhz and it runs ridiculously cool and quiet. There's not just a good backing plate but a solid case around the whole thing. It feels really sturdy and even though it's heavy it doesn't sag when it's installed in the case and the case is standing. There are plenty of sites you can look at for actual test results and performance data, just google it. Basically this is the fastest card you can get besides the Titan which only gets you like 15% more FPS but costs almost 50% more.To cool the radiator we're provided just one wire with a 3 pin plug. You can set a custom fan curve through some very nice EVGA software. With only one fan it can either run cool or run quiet but not both. It's quieter than my old card but not as quiet as I expected considering the watercooling and whatnot. Maybe you could find an adapter to hook up two 3 pin fans of your choice and they could still be controlled by the card. (2 working together wouldn't have to run as fast. Slower is quieter) I replaced mine with two 2000 rpm Noctua PWM fans that are controlled based on the motherboard temperature. The fans stay pretty quiet most of the time and the card never gets much hotter than 50c.Beware that this thing is HUGE. It hangs over my SATA connectors along the edge of the motherboard, actually touching them. Because of that it was hard to push the card down into the PCI slot and lock it in. That seems like a pretty obvious design flaw but the card is already so big they couldn't have made it any taller. The hoses coming off the top of the card already get kinda squished when I put the side panel on my case. Some reviewers complain about pump noise. To prevent that, with any of these all-in-one type watercooling systems you want the radiator above the pump, with the hoses at the bottom of the radiator. That way any air bubbles will get trapped at the top of the radiator and stay there. If you mount it wrong you could get noisy air bubbles in your pump. I'm not saying everyone with a noisy pump did something wrong but that might help.

Very Good Card
I purchased this card all the way from South Africa as the local retailers didn't stock the ICX variants of the evga 1080 ti cards. I have gone through many GPUs so I will be somewhat critical in this review. Firstly priority shipping had the card arriving on Thursday morning after ordering on Monday evening which is very impressive from amazon side considering it was an export order to Africa. I paid 860 US dollars for the card which is expensive but still cheaper than cards sold locally. As for the card I feel it could have been significantly quieter and cooler by making it a 3 slot design like other brands (The card would beat all the brands with this cooler in a 3 slot design). I understand the compatibility factor with this card (2 slot design) which is nice but the fans are definitely noticeable at max load (stock or oc). This card is still significantly quieter than other brands I've had in the past but it is not quieter than the msi gaming x card and the Asus stix cards. Having said that the cards max temp reaches 73 degrees C at 4k Witcher 3 which is good considering its a 2 slot design. The stability of the card is impressive at a 2011mhz overclock and the RGB lights are great. The Card is extremely well built and the thermal sensors are a great feature in ensuring everything is running normally. I can highly recommend this card for 1440p 144hz gaming or 4k 60hz depending on your set up. Just ensure you have a powerful CPU for the 144fps at 1440pI would definitely recommend this as an enthusiast card and would without a doubt buy it again.
