Coven Master: Book One: Fae-King's Harem, Book 1

Most of the time smut books are poorly written trash, enjoyable but poorly written trash none the less. Nick Storming doesn’t write those, he writes well thought out entertaining as hell smut with great characters and entertaining stories, I’ll definitely be reading more of his work.

There is a plot here, and actually despite my review title there is a foundation to the story. The problem is that the foundation seemed to be built entirely on sex and sand. The MC is as is far too common in a harem tale a wimp. He is slow to think, doesn't act decisively until forced and seems determined to whine and beg at times. Its the usual angst fest that I have hated for a long time.And the harem dynamic here is driven by a lot of "ancient cosmic destiny" whibbly wobbly stuff. It felt a bit like someone decided to bring out some handwavium to solve the problems in the plot.Its not bad, but the more I thought about it, the less I had a great impression of the tale. Its an adequate harem tale, which puts it in the low 3 star category for me.

Keep your mind open and always hope the best of others and one day a Goddess may choose you to save the world.A coven of witches is Not as scary as fables foretell. Sometimes they need you as much as you need them and together a mighty force can be born.Yes this story is just like that. Sure this 19 year old virgin has to have sex with a goddess and 4 beautiful women, but ya, there is a good story too. I enjoyed it and would like to see more.Read in 1 day

I usually give grace to the first book of the series and this one's no different. It was a super fast story which I would have liked a lot better if it had been drawing out to probably 300 pages. A my opinion when you go so fast you lose weight to the story and it doesn't have the same meaning and you don't really care about the characters.

Very good, I've read this authors other works and this one does not disappoint. I will definitely read the rest of this series.

This is a decent quick read. A little choppy at times, but easy enough to follow. Holds true to the genre.

I thought the book was very entertaining I Like the Way It Was Written I kind of like the way the story progressed I wasn't real happy with the way the protagonist got injured but I understand that some things have to happen I thought was very good book that's why I gave it the rating I gave

I liked the story and the characters, you could do a lot with this and hope the author does. A few issues I had was it needs proofreading In be passage Becca is a brunette and in all the others she is a blonde as on example . Overall a good book that could be longer but none the less enjoyable. Waiting for the next one.

It's an alright book, still needs a proofread though due to spelling mistakes and at least 1 rather funny factual mistake.

Sex used as filler to make up for short story. Not horrible but brings nothing interesting. Need more words before i can submit.

I am thoroughly enjoying reading Nicks books. I recommend the book to all who are interested in this genre. Keep up the good work Nick and go hard on the next in the series. Thank you

It's ok I would say, light vs dark. I expect the story can grow in future books.We will see if no 2 comes out
