You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a touch of class in this modern design look, good quality and bright illumination that picks up motions quickly when set to "auto" mode. I placed this light in my hallway leading to my restroom so as soon as you get a few feet away, it picks up your motion to do it's job making it easier to see down the hallway for direction since my light switch is located near end of my hallway and past my bathroom, there is no need to even use the switch to turn lights on with this motion light! Love it and now will see where else I can place the other two. Fyi: using Command strips secures these lights without any hole mounting or nails in the walls. Will definitely order more of these as gift items!

They’re about the size of your hand- so small & subtle. They are BRIGHT. I’m lucky they fit under cabinets, above the floor, in that under cabinet groove- so family restroom breaks or sick people get the light they need without flipping on huge lights. LOVE THAT. Perfect for the pantry too- grabbing snacks during movie time & no one even notices.They’re really attractive if they need to sit in the open. I personally prefer darkness, so I wish they offered an additional slide in film for the light cover- weird wish I know- but some places a subtleglow would work better.I could totally see this in sheds or garages- it’s so bright for a tiny thing. the stickers are STRONG- no need to screw in. once its stuck on- it’s on FYI (tore off paint being a picky placer).Also, i think they’re a great price! I’m curious to see how long these 4 batteries will last, these are all newly installed. My only related gripe is mine aren’t very light sensitive. It doesn’t react to some overhead lights at all- it reacts to the motion regardless. So that’s going to eat at my batteries- but we’ll see in a few weeks I guess! I still love them.

*long post, but worth the read* This review is about a couple months from purchase and I still love these lights! They have new batteries and lasts a decent length of time for frequent use (about 1-2 months before they dim). I got the 6 pack and this one is right outside my bedroom before the bathroom so I can see when I get up in the middle of the night.I also have one in my bathroom, and in my closet.Pros: I love the modern look and the silver color. They are bright and light up my short hallway, bathroom, and closet. I’m going to put one outside on my balcony as well when it stays warm outside and can have a lounge space with the perfect lighting.*Easy to use switch at the bottom.-Settings: “on,” “off,” and “auto” (motion detection.)*Also love using the sticky pads on the back instead of the screw option.(HEADS UP: the sticky pads to mount are SUPER strong and know exactly where you want it before application. I was only able to get it off the wall cause I’m really strong and pulled it for a good 1 minute, plus wiggling it to change the location for the one in my closet).Cons: the motion sensor works well but sometimes after the 15 seconds are up, when I move again to try to turn it on it doesn’t pick up the first movement immediately (but this isn’t directly in front of it), so the range is limited to about 1-2 feet away off to the side. does pretty well with small movements though.

I LOVE these! We got them for the stairs and in the hallway to the bathroom and put them up with command strips so we could move them if they didn't work where we placed them. They are excellent. They're a little bigger than I expected ... a little deeper, but I guess if you were really set on where you were putting them you could always cut into your drywall and inset them, though you'd still need to be able to pull them out as they're battery operated. They give off a nice amount of light - our hallway is 3'4" wide and 14' long - we have one light centrally located about 12" from the floor and it lights the whole hallway well enough at night. One suggestion - they have an on/off/auto button at the bottom so we turn a couple of ours off in the morning - the stairs don't get much natural light so the lights keep turning on through they day which eats up the battery. Other than that ... excellent purchase, really happy we got them and if we had more stairs I would for sure buy more.

Perfect for a dark stairwell. Much brighter than I expected. No drilling or wiring into the wall required! Simple installation. Has a very long detection range and shuts off automatically after 15 seconds to save battery life when placed on auto, but can also be left in on position if you want them on at all times. They also look great. I LOVE THEM! I ordered 4 and the sensor was messed up in a few of them but the company quickly replaced them. HAPPY CUSTOMER.

I bought several of these. They look nice but he brushed stainless steel fascia on one of them simply fell off (they're glued on). So I put that one in a closet where that didn't matter so much. Then, another one just started to blink on and off randomly. I changed the batteries but that didn't change things. So, I turned the switch to the off position but the unit didn't go off. Then, the two small LED lights at the bottom would stay on and the motion detection didn't work at all, no matter what the switch position. I've had it for too long to return it so I'll just chuck it. Finally, another one just blinks on for a few seconds then off again, but not nearly as often as the one that went completely haywire. I won't buy another and wouldn't recommend it.

We put these lights in our very dark staircase. Our dog's eyesight isn't great and it's very hard for him to see in the dark. The sensors are just sensitive enough. They come on easily but do not turn on when they shouldn't. The light is very bright and the units are attractive. The only negative is that each light takes six AAA batteries but as the lights are not on all the time, I expect the batteries will last a long time.
