Really please with the computer I have bought. I didn't buy this computer to run games like Gta or Call of duty as I can play them on the Xbox. I got this to run some simulator and indie games from steam and it works really well. The start up is instant and it's fast. I've tried games like fortnite and it also runs well and is very playable. I think for £300 the system is well worth the money. Inside the computer is clean and it looks like I could easily upgrade the components if I chose to do so. The outer casing had one small mark and there were a few marks on the plastic of the monitor but the screen was immaculate. The keyboard and mouse supplied were advertised as refurbished but I believe they were brand new. The wifi adapter supplied works great too and the inbuilt speakers are functional but I do plan on buying externals as they will give a better sound. I did have one issue and that was the cable supplied to connect the monitor and computer wasn't right but after a quick message to the seller I was sent the correct cable and a free rgb mouse mat worth £30 for the trouble! Amazing customer service, I couldn't have asked for more! If I decide to upgrade the system in a few years I will definitely buy from them again.

Good value for money and works as I want it to.Speed is very good . A bit taller than a thought.

Bought this to replace a decade old laptop computer plus screen. There wasn't anything wrong with the laptop, it's just that my son has just started college and needed a laptop for word processing. Laptops appear to have increased in price significantly while desktops have become much better value. Since I was tending to use the laptop as a desktop anyway, I came to the conclusion that I could upgrade my PC and give the laptop to my son, since it would handle word processing without a problem.The items came quickly and the contents were well packaged against damage. Everything was there, although note that it came with a DVI cable and a VGA cable. I'm not sure why the latter is included since I can't see anyone buying a gaming PC using a VGA monitor. If you're preference is to use HDMI rather than DVI, you'll need to have your own cable. However for most purposes DVI is fine so although I have some HDMI cables I've connected the PC to the monitor using the former.Anyway, I connected the PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse, plus a WIFI dongle and external hard drive and fired up. All was good although there's always the hassle with new hardware that you need to log on to just about everything, and nearly always have to reinstall software. Incidentally, I accidentally used the old WIFI dongle so can't comment on the one supplied. The external drive was added because I'd backed up all my old documents etc. on to it so that it could be restored to the new hardware.I regularly used Microsoft Money, which I had to download again. I was able to read in the last backup file from the laptop although it did take a bit of messing about pointing to the correct file path. I reinstalled OpenOffice since I find that every bit as good as Microsoft, and has the advantage that it's free. The browser that comes with the PC is Microsoft Edge, but I prefer Opera One so installed that and made it the default browser. Finally, the Microsoft Mail setup failed to connect to the Yahoo mail server so I abandoned it and installed Thunderbird. There's other stuff I'm going to install as required, but I now have all the basic day to day applications I need (forgot to mention Adobe .PDF reader as well).So, apart from hassles with signing in all over the place, the hardware itself has been exemplary. Everything is running super fast compared to my old laptop so I'm so far very happy with the setup. I haven't yet got around to gaming which I wanted as a by-product of upgrading my PC, so can't comment on how good the graphics card is going to be. On that basis only, I'm only giving 4 stars which I'll upgrade if running games turns out well. Visually, everything looks as good as new so all good there too. Overall though, I'm very impressed with the value of the hardware and would recommend to anyone.

Running beautifully 1st time, immaculate, well packed, speedy delivery.Really nice touch was: "Product support, Problems? Returns? Repairs?" contact sheet and form included :)excellent customer service, follow up contact message to check we are fully up and running and satisfied, prompting contact to initiate 1 year warranty.Child's play to set up, plug and play.slight hiccup we had, although it's mostly down to our inexperience: was monitor needs to be connected via graphics card in our package, but vga cable provided only and graphics card hdmi...however we chose a new 22"monitor which was hdmi ready and we had plenty hdmi leads to spare so this proved only a slight chin scratch moment. Happily the screen displayed a message telling us exactly what the problem was when we connected monitor via vga "monitor needs to be connected directly through graphics card" and it was a short leap from this to checking the ports on the card at the back of the tower and on the monitor, seeing hdmi ports on both and sourcing a cable to unite them. Jobs a good one, even for us middle-aged IT muddlers.SO HAPPY, WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND.SAVED HUNDREDS ON EQUIVALENT RETAIL MACHINE WITH FEWER PROBLEMS AND BETTER SERVICE.

Arrived without monitor, handwritten sticker on back saying i3 and lower spec processor yet on box says in hand writing spec as advertised. Opened case and no SSD but 2TB HDD instead. Cannot work/connect to monitor as says graphics card connector port but not able to. Poor packaging. Not happy and wouldn't advise to buy. Returning when shop opens after 3+hours wastedStill waiting on a refund after 9 days and told today 2nd august sorry its been refunded and can take few days to go into the bank. This has caused horrendous inconvenience and upset as it was a present for my childs birthday and we are being made to wait for a refund after being lied to and sold rubbish and i have wasted over 7hrs dealing with this appalling and scandalous ordeal....looking at legal and media avenues shortly. Terrible, absolutely terrible senario...my child is asking repeatedly why i cannot get the money to buy something that works and is true...bad things happen hey....16th August several weeks later, seller is acting untoward and undermining the situation badly! Ignored numerous requests for compensation so now further action is needed. Should not be allowed to trade tbh. Terrible experience which has impacted my child badly during a birthday period and deprived of present and delayed refunding.... appalling and scandalous approach
