This is just high-carb and salty dopamine. I didn't buy this for nutrition or health. I bought it because it's quick calories and it tastes good. It's microwaved food in a paper cup. I don't expect fancy or high quality. It's exactly what I wanted it to be. Three-minute access to comfort and Flavortown. 5/5 stars. That being said... It's microwaved food in a paper cup.

These make a perfect snack for my kids. They are easy to add water to and microwave. My kids love how they taste. I also appreciate that they can make them by themselves and quickly. Definitely a hit in our house

These rice cups are easy to prepare and taste good too. I especially like the broccoli cheese ones. Choice of 3 different flavors! Good for lunch or a nighttime snack. Recommend!

I purchased the "3-flavor variety pack" and "cheesy cups variety pack" to see how well they fit as part of my emergency pantry supplies, figuring they would have a decent shelf life and good selection of flavors. I was a bit disappointed to see that even though these indicate as having a 6-month shelf life, the two different variety packs I purchased apparently were both sitting in a warehouse for 4 months, so I had a little less than 2 months left until they went past their use-by date. Also, after opening the outer boxes, I noticed that two of the cups (that were upside down) had broken open and dumped their rice contents into the box. I had two additional ones where the paper lid had started separating, but because they were upright, the contents did not spill out. Both of these issues greatly diminish the value of these variety packs as emergency pantry supplies, and I will not be purchasing additional ones for that purpose. As far as the rice/pasta itself, the rice has the typical consistency of an "instant" rice product, which once cooked, has a texture that is a bit mushier than a regular (non-instant) rice product. Most of the rice flavors were reasonably good, with the "Jalapeno Cheddar" and "Chicken" flavors being my favorites for the rice cups. The "Parmesan and Romano" pasta flavor selection was the best overall in both its physical texture and flavor, so I may purchase more of those if I can get them from a local store where I can examine the cups before purchase.

Great variety of both rice and pasta and a great price for twelve cups. A bit salty, but I figure it’s just what you get with processed foods. A quick option to put something in your stomach. I had a gum graft and have to eat soft foods, so I appreciated this option!
