Dark, dark, dark.....
No surprise, the good doctor has always been dark. But wow, interdimensional beings, most of them clones, Port in to wipe out magic in the name of science? All magic, everywhere, In all dimensions?Harsh.Good back story on the big bad, who's parents were killed on a world where science is heresy. He does take it to an extreme, truly, but it provides a nice palette for the story.Strange and friends must fight this threat by gathering up AL, the magic leftin the world. Did I mention their powers are gone?Yeah, there's that. Oh, and normal people are cloaked from seeing all this happen, so it's just another day for them. And one more thing, the creature locked in the Sanctum's basement, a being of pure pain and suffering. And the door has been left open.A good read for Strange fans and riveting, read it in one sitting.

Where has all the magic gone?
Jason Aaron and Chris Bachelo continue their great run on Doctor Strange as an enemy arrives with only one goal, to wipe out all magic. Doc and the other mages of the Marvel Universe must work together to stop this enemy before all is lost. A great read!

then this should be pretty enjoyable.
Really tapers off compared to the first TPB in the series. It's also a bit of a rip-off of Aaron's previous work on Thor: God of Thunder... the story arc is incredibly similar, but if you haven't read that, then this should be pretty enjoyable.

A great continuation of a fun series
Artwork is great. I love how you are introduced to other magic users in the world. It is well balanced with action, humor, and drama. Great job in continuing the series.

Dr. Strange
Bachalo's art is great as always, but the story wasn't as good as volume 1.

Never the Last...
I'm not sure if this will appeal to new readers coming to this title after the movie hits theatres as it is quite involved and well wrapped in it's own mysteries - but to anyone that's tried Doctor strange before - this is a revelation!Baccallo's art is perfect for the series and his best fit anywhere while although writer Aaron throws many characters into this mix it does not feel cramped and there is a (kind of ) closure to this volume complimenting the first. As I've said before - I'm 'Old School' - yet I love this series and highly recommend it and am clamoring for the next one!.

Not Quite Strange Enough
Continues the goodness of volume I. As before, I'm still not blown away by the artwork (don't get me wrong, it's good enough, but the style is too reminiscent of Lilo & Stitch for my tastes - call me a traditionalist if you like), but the storyline is pretty solid and suitably mad-camp for Dr Strange. It won't blow your mystical world apart, but it will entertain you.

Loved It.
Having only recently got into Doctor Strange I found this series delightful. On the back on the first trade in this series this really takes things up a notch with Magic and sorcerers literally being wiped out Dr Strange has to fight to keep himself and magic alive. Jason Aaron really tells a teriffic story which anyone familiar with his work will not be suprised by,
