A reasonably good product for the $.
The leather is smooth and the cheek riser is firm. It holds 45-70 shells very firmly. The threading is fairly light and the eyelets look low quality (compared to the USA Made products I have like Diamond D stuff). It could use a leather flap on the bottom so the strings would not touch the stock. the string that comes with it is more like a cheap shoelace, not an elastic band like Diamond D would have. I’m guessing the whole thing will not wear well as the years go on. But it’s beautiful and most importantly, functional and should last a while or be easy to repair if needed. I have low rise rings on my Marlin 1895 SBL and it lines up the scope really well to give me a great cheek weld although medium rise rings would work too.

Stinky but it works
Smelly! Has been sitting outside for the sun and wind to work on. Not bad leather but the tanning is smelly (Chinese - and ships from there but on time). Dry fitted on the rifle and seems to be a good hieght for cheek weld with raised scope on a lever gun with look through mounts. Gonna let the stink go away the hit it with neetsfoot oil and buff it down. Will mount after that. Yeah it was 40 bucks but good US customs are $120+. Get what ya pay for but does what it is designed to do.

Poor fitment
Took forever to receive, didn’t fit very well (cheek sits way too high, for any rifle in my opinion). Too expensive to return all the way to China. Looks kinda cool though, only reason for the extra star

Put this on a Marlin 336XLR and couldn’t be happier with it
Put this on a Marlin 336XLR and couldn’t be happier with it. It provides a better cheek weld for a scoped rifle and made finding the proper eye relief much easier. From what I can tell this thing will stand up to the miles that lay before it.

JUNK!
Needs 0 stars. Total garbage. Picture is not representative of what I received. Had to pay to ship this piece of junk back to them. This is cheap China crap and I don’t know any self respecting gun owner that would want this on their gun.
