Acer CB241H bmidr 24” Full HD Monitor with Tilt/Swivel/Pivot/Height Adjustment and Built-in Speakers,Black

Bought this monitor primarily for the multiple inputs (VGA, DVI, and HDMI). Very clear and bright monitor great for most home computer uses and the height adjustment feature is an added plus. No issues while playing video games, refresh rate (response time) is spot on, no ghosting. Built in speakers are a little tinny, good in a pinch, but I would recommend external speaker system.

This monitor is everything I wanted and more. The base is very sturdy and is extremely adjustable which is great for me because I work on the computer a lot so sometimes I like to stand, this lifts up high enough for me to stand and work. It also rotates so depending on if I'm slouching or sitting up straight I can get the perfect angle. It was easy to hook up, the speakers are good enough for my purposes and the screen itself looks really great. I would highly recommend this monitor.

I have not had it very long but so far so good, it is replacing another Acer that was much smaller and lasted about 3 years which considering I seldom turn them off is pretty good. I hope this one will last at least that long but I did buy the extra warranty because the reviews were a bit mixed. It has a nice adjustment range with screen tilt, height adjustment and even swivels to make the screen long and narrow for reading spreadsheets etc. It seems to be bigger than I expected as well but that is a plus! I don't think I have the speakers hooked up correctly because I don't hear them but I have several speakers attached to my system so they may just not be loud enough to notice. All in all, I am surprisingly pleased with this monitor and the fact that I was able to get it for free (using a gift card that I won in a random drawing) makes it even better. I would recommend this item to others SO FAR!!

Great monitor. I was looking specifically for a monitor that could rotate vertically and this one does that. I was surprised how hard it was to find one like this. A lot of monitors just have molded plastic on the back and you are stuck with a horizontal monitor. Other option is buying a small TV that has a VESA mount, but i wanted something already with the stand and capability to rotate vertically right out of the box. Picture is clear and crisp.

The screen is great, but next to nothing sound wise. I have had our computer person from work stop by my home and still strain to hear. ( I will add he is in his mid 30s so it is not like there is any hearing loss on his part. ) I am considering going back to my 20 inch screen just to hear again. I am tired of the need to listen on my cell phone or go to work to be able to hear. Sight is great sound I can't rate because it is NOT

It won't turn on. I called technical support and they confirmed my setup was correct. The monitor is defective. I have ordered a replacement so hopefully the second one will work. This is a nightmare, though, because I needed it immediately.

A rare find to get a monitor stand that rotates to portrait or landscape orientation. The stand and monitor are stylish, easy to set up, and the picture is excellent. This is a find... and at a great price.

Not impressed with this display. While it is running at a full 1080p resolution it is using what appears to be a pretty low quality TN panel. The image appears washed out with a fairly narrow viewing angle on it. The speakers are tinny and not very good. If you're connecting this to a laptop there's a good chance your laptop display will look much nicer than what you'll see out of this. I have seen better displays for the money, including some from Acer.I do like the very sturdy stand which allows for the display to be rotated 90 degrees. But the quality of the display did not meet my expectations here.For an alternative check out the Acer KG251Q bmiix 24.5" Full HD (1920 x 1080) Monitor with AMD FREESYNC Technology - although billed as a gaming display I think it will do well for general computing use too. The stand is equally sturdy.
