Constructive Playthings Wooden Unit Blocks for Kids (82 pcs.)

First let me mention that these blocks are wonderful fro teaching the kids how to use their fine motor skills. Also these things are very well made. They are sanded very well to avoid the possibility of getting a splinter. Very important for a child's toy. And the sheer quantity of blocks makes it great for the kids to play together (if your kids are past the "mine" stage) . The only thing is I do not recommend that you leave a couple of small 2 year old boys alone with these blocks, some are quite long and as they are made from quality wood the kids can use the longer blocks to smack each other. So just keep a watchful eye on the kiddos when they play with this great toy.

These are a nice size but really heavy-which is great for heavy work but when they fall they are extremely loud and leave some bruises. We chose to return them and kept a lighter weight set.

These blocks are made out of white oak. My grandchild loves playing with them.
