Easy to install and use
I used this to mount a Holosun HS507C to my Glock 17 (the Holosun uses an RMR footprint). It was pretty easy to install (just be careful not to deform the aluminum if you have to tap it into place), though I had to get different mounting screws--the ones that came with it were too long for the sight. You'll need shorter #6 screws, I think 1/4" long. It has held up well through a few hundred rounds so far. One of these days I'll turn the sight off and try the backup sight feature, but this is definitely easier and faster than getting your slide milled, especially if you're on the fence about the MRDS concept and don't want to permanently modify anything yet.

Dependable red dot mount without having to alter your slide
I like ease of install , very good option for my Glock 26 gen 5 so I didn't need to pay to get a slide cut. No need to permantly alter my Glock is a big win. I ran 400 rounds with no issues.

Just mill your slide
I purchased an RBU direct form Dueck and i have no comaints, it really works well and i lile the integrated sights.This is product made for those that are dot-curious. I did not want to commit to milling my slide but after a year wish a did, i would encourage anyone looking at a dot to just get it milled into the slide.I have found the dot to be amaizing for pistol performamce. Several reasons, 1, it shows you how bad your trigger press really is. If the dot takes a Big dip, thats all you. 2, i find it much easier to track the dot than conventional sights. I shoot much faster and more accuratly with a dot.The RBU is a great way to ease into a dot.Disclaimer: you must put the time in to learn the dot. It may tale hundreds of reps before you can pickup the dot consiatenly off the draw. There is a learning curve, you MUST put the time in to get past this. If you do, you will see the results.
