We bought two of these rocker recliners in brown. Each chair was delivered in one huge box and are heavy so glad I was home for the delivery guys help get into our house till my husband was home to assemble. Super easy to assemble, literally just slide back on and two back arm sides and that’s it. Super comfy but my husband says there a little stiff but he’s use to his old rocker recliner he had for a decade that sinks way down. Lol. We live near the beach in Florida and have a brown and navy nautical theme in the house and have a true brown leather couch, we chose to get the brown color in these recliners and knew it’s faux leather so we knew the color would be a bit off but we’re still happy with the color and fitting in the color theme we have. However you can compare the color to our true leather couch. The leather on the recliners are a pebbled leather and is strong and made very well. However it is faux leather hence the price but made well. I love these chairs and happy with the purchase. When I opened the box and come in the family room even now you can smell that new furniture smell you get going into a furniture store, so super happy with that. The one and only down side I would give these recliners is that I wish the back went up higher, these seem to hit my husband and I at the neck or middle of our head in the back. I wish a bit taller but when you compare these chair sizes to others either on Amazon or in stores these seem to be the going size so I guess it’s the norm but just wish a little taller, other then that super happy with the purchase. I wanted to post a review because so many reviews show bizarre happenings to their purchase such as ripped leather or torn away or gliding mechanicism bad, the list goes on for not just this one but others on Amazon when we scoured recliners for weeks before deciding on our purchase of these two chairs. It’s frustrating because as a buyer I want to ask “do you have pets?” Or “what did you do? That’s not normal on anything” I mean even buying flip flops and they post photos of the flip flop beat to hell and give a bad review,...really? So I wanted to post a true honest review with the immediate arrival of the purchase. How we take care of the chair is now in our hands. This is what we received and my review on it and happy with it. Hope this helps because this is what I wish I could have read, it would have made our search a bit easier.

Christopher Knight recliner. My husband was able to assemble this very quickly. It was delivered very quickly and was in only one box! I believe that it is appropriately priced. I have only had this chair for maybe two weeks so this could change. It is not like a cushy recliner. It is very sturdy, long legged, large seat and is comfortable for movies, games and family. It is not a recliner that would be great to sleep an entire night in. All of my family loves it. I have to fight for it! Super recliner! It is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a recliner that I was able to sit with my legs crossed. The way I like to. I also wanted a big enough seat to cuddle. It is like one and a half seats seat in size.

I saw this chair advertised on Black Friday and decided to buy it because of the good price. The chair is worth the price I paid for sure. It is very comfortable for relaxing sitting back watching television. The one thing that prevented me from a 5 star on it is .. I do some computing and writing while in my chair and the back on this model tilts back slightly (for relaxing) more than my previous chair and require me to use a pillow behind my back for those activities.

The chair was easy to put together. It has two cushions that slide on close to the headrests but not sure the purpose. The back of the recliner is short. I’m 5’9 and when I sit my head is taller than the back of the chair. The material is very cheap and it is very stiff. You do not sink down into the chair like a comfy recliner should be. Will be returning.

When you sit down in this chair, your head doesn't rest unless your head is back almost looking at the ceiling. Otherwise the chair is great, comfortable, well made and beautiful.

This chair has been wonderful for me in the first couple weeks. I saw there were some reviews about the chair being a bit stiff and this is true. It is not so stiff that it makes your butt go numb, but a comfortable stiffness. This is how I wanted the chair because it gives good support. I have sat in the chair for many hours at a time on a Sunday afternoon and it was great the whole time. It is over-sized so you can curl up your legs onto the chair with ease. The rocking motion of this chair is great! I have had guests over and they all seem to head for that chair right away. It is a bit tough to put down the leg rest, but that will get easier with each use. The legs of the chair seem to dig into the carpet a bit, so I bought some circle pads (almost like coasters) to put under the legs and they work great.For size reference: I am 5' 9" and the chair is plenty big. When reclined, my head is at about the beginning of the top crease which props it up making it nice for viewing tv. In the upright position my head is at the top pillow of the back, maybe slightly over it. This doesn't matter though because I hardly rest my head against the back when sitting upright like with most chairs. I am 165 lbs, and have about a half foot on each side of my hips while sitting in the middle of the chair. The extra space is very nice.Edit: 6 years later and two kids, this chair is the best chair I have had. The rocking is so smooth and puts everyone to sleep. Still so comfortable and holds up. I would totally buy another, but price has doubled since my purchase

This replaced the exact same chair that I bought 3 years ago and had to replace because the recliner mechanism got screwed up. Other than that, the other chair held up great so I anticipate this will also hold up well. It is very comfortable, easy to assemble and is attractive.

It assembled quickly. No damage. It glides. It reclines. The color is a nice dark brown. The texture is as expected. The first impression when sitting in it, is that it is firm, solid, not sloppy, well made. I suspect it will loosen with use - hopefully not too much. A nice size for most average adults. Our home has adults from 100-200 lb, 5'- 6'2" and all like it. Perfect addition to the family room for TV time.
