It does exactly what I remember it cleaning when I was a child... I scrubbed my bathroom amd floors and they were brighter after it removed the grime and build-up.

Great end result. I looked up videos on how to use this cake like bluing. It helps tremendously. It does what it says. It is like using the bar washing laundry soaps in that it is effective BUT you need physical movement and effort for a few minutes. You disolve this in a wash cloth into a container of water then soak your garments. You actively swish n then rinse. Just remember like all things that truly do the job and work - you need elbow grease and effort to get that whiter than white! Dingy white or creamy off white or winter white is not the same as mom's white. Go ahead wash your garments needed special attention: handwash with a bar of soap using elbow grease and then follow up with this crown product. Just becareful use it carefully take your time. You will soon be the wear clothes like ma' washed them ;)

This is a product I have been using since I learn how to do my laundry in my home country to keep whites white. Great product.

Having grown up in the Caribbean, these were essential for maintaining the pristine whiteness of our uniform shirts. I have not yet had the opportunity to try them since receiving them, but I am hopeful they will perform well.I came across a comment suggesting their use in a washing machine, though I am uncertain if that is the intended method.As I recall, we were taught to place the product in a cotton cloth, secure it tightly, and then swirl it in water until the water achieved a pale blue hue, or the desired shade. After washing and rinsing the clothes, they should be damp, not completely dry, before being immersed in the blue-tinted water. The white garments should be swirled or left in the water for about a minute. DO NOT RINSE! Unless the the item is too blue, then sure rinse away. Air drying is recommended for a better result. My Mom’s aide suggested I buy these tablets to soothe my dog’s skin irritation. I was too afraid to use it on my dog but I did use it on my whites and am quite pleased. If anyone has used this on their pups, please enlighten me.
