The click is too loud and forceful for my liking. The unit is pretty small, read the dimensions. I thought it would mute the mic, but it mutes the speakers only. This is a windows thing, as windows doesn’t have a key for mic mute yet. The unit is heavy enough with decent feet that it doesn’t slide around. They state the knob is metal and it is, although it is the thinnest aluminum with plastic insert they could engineer. It relies on the pot it is connected to to secure it and as such has some wobble/run out.The neat feature: The unit has an engineering mode where you use notepad to customize the operation. It shows as a usb keyboard and has six functions of long and short press and turn with and without the button depressed.I used windows power keys to activate a mute hotkey of windows-M and then assigned this to the short button press to mute the microphone.To change key assignments, open notepad, make sure it is the active window, then connect the unit while the button is pressed down and held for a bit, then release once connected. The device types out a menu on notepad and you turn and click to work through the menus. Pretty neat.
