Not for a floor toy.
Product comes exactly as photographed and described. Within 2 minutes of placing this on the floor my rabbit chewed off the carrot tops. For my bunny to keep using these as toss toys, I had to tie some yarn around the carrots with a loop. The holes are very shallow, so placing a treat under them really doesn't work well because the carrot can not stand up in the hole. The wood has permanent screws on the side with the white plastic clamps. I cannot get the screws so have to keep the white plastic clamps on for safety feature. My bunny's play pen's bars are vertical not horizontal, but I thought it would be fine to just place on the floor. It cannot sit correctly due to the clamps. Due to the clamps and the shallowness of the wood holder I just threw it away and my bunny uses the carrots as a toss toy with the yarn tied to them.

BE CAREFUL!
This product I would recommend for DWARF RABBITS ONLY! I own a standard rabbit and this toy was NOT for her. The carrots are too small and she ate the green tops the first day. I was afraid she’s chike on the carrots. Also, the holes in the wood are far too small to fit any treats.Bruh I really hate KayTee products to the point where I won’t even buy hay from them anymore. They don’t care about your pets. They care about what sells.

Impractical for a bunny, complete fail
I really wanted to love this item, but it ended up being a total fail. The hardware equipment on one side didn’t connect easily anywhere, but we figured we would just let our bunny play with it on the floor. He could get the carrots out with ease, but then couldn’t get his nose into the holes to grab the treats! The holes were small and deep, so he just couldn’t reach! It was like torture for him to be so close yet so far! He actually ended up picking up the entire wooden block with his mouth and trying to whip it around to get the treats out. (Obviously we stopped him immediately so he didn’t hurt his teeth and just gave him the treats), but that just shows you how frustrated he got with it. I really wanted to love it because I wanted fun new, SAFE toys for my rabbit, but unfortunately this did not work at all.

Bought for Rats
-It was smaller then expected.-Cant really fit treats as the holes are slightly bigger then the carrots.-I didnt realize it could be hooked up to the corner or the cage. Which is cool and all except I have a critter nation and its a bit awkward to do so.-My girls seem to like it as they immediately took the carrots and ran lol. It seems like a good chew toy for them to shorten their teeth. Thats nice as they dont have many chew toys.Overall not bad and for the price I dont regret buying it. I am not sure if I would buy again but ive only had it for a day.

To small for rabbits and Syrian hamsters
This product is to small for a Syrian hamster so I'm guessing to small for a rabbit. Luckily this is perfect for my dwarf hamster. The holes are to small for my Syrian hamster to get the treat out herself. After she couldn't get it out herself, she didn't want to play with it. My other Syrian hamster just took the carrot and took off lol. On the other hand my dwarf hamster enjoyed the game. After I showed her what to do, she was engaged with it for a few mins. A lot longer then the other hamsters. Highly recommend dwarf hamsters only or small mice.

It’s not a treat-hider like I thought it was
For some reason, I thought this would have room under the carrot to hide treats or small bits of pellet. Unfortunately, there is not enough room underneath the carrots to place something and still have the carrot sit in the hole. I tried to get her to play with it as a normal toy, but she isn’t interested. It’s a cute idea but my spoiled bun apparently is not amused by it!

Doesn't work with treats inside
Positive - our bunny loves throwing the carrots. Negative- when we put a treat under the carrot, then there isn't enough room for the carrot to stand up as well and that defeats the purpose. We tried tiny treats and the carrot still didn't stand, and then the treat gets stuck and the bunny can't get it out.

Don’t buy
This is a great idea. I love the toy idea but the way they built it is meaningless! First of all I put a treat in and the carrots on top of the treat. The carrot wouldn’t stay up. So I took out some treat and broke it up...still wouldn’t fit. So I put in one tiny treat in each one...my bun came over and just knocked it over to get to it (the brute). Then he couldn’t get to the little bits in the bottom and tried his hardest. He got very frustrated and so did I as the toy is bolted into the cage. I also wish the carrot top was a LITTLE bit longer so he could grab onto it. Ours was so short which is why he can just tip it over to make it fall. The toy is very sturdy though and I could smell the pine, so I know its safe to chew. Won’t buy again unless I see its made a bit better.

Doesn't work
Well, the carrots aren't designed to actually hide anything under them. if you drop a treat in and try to cover it, the carrot almost always sits sideways or falls out.I bought it for my guineas...they can't actually get the treats out of the hole, so I wonder how a bunny or other animal is supposed to do it. Anyhow, don't waste your money. I left it in their habitat to see if they would at least use it as a chew toy...no luck. Probably going to just toss it in the trash

Not worth it for rabbits
Rabbits that enjoy throwing games might enjoy playing with the carrots, but then they’d also enjoy a toilet paper tube so this isn’t worth the expense. You can put treats in the empty cup at the front, but again the expense isn’t worth it since you can also put treats on the floor or a plate that you already own, it makes no difference to the bun. The point is there’s no “learning” involved here because you can’t hide treats below the carrots. Either the carrots won’t fit on top of the treat, or else the treats are so small (eg a few groats), and the cups so narrow and deep, that the rabbit can’t get them out.

Super fun and cute
My hamster ADORES this! It’s like a little game for her. I put treats underneath the carrots and she’s conditioned now! She knows when the carrots are up, there’s a snack waiting for her! It’s also so cute to see her knock them down.

Not the best toy.
She loved tossing the carrots around. I got it as an add on so didn't pay full price. It needs to be Mounted in a corner. Other than the carrots our bunny didn't care. To small maybe for her.

Not good for rabbits
Like other reviewers said, treats will not fit under the carrots so it's pretty useless. Additionally, our rabbit cannot reach down into the holes to get any tiny treats that we try to make fit under the carrots. Poor design. I do not recommend.
