Received this product, 2 of the shapes were backwards, making it impossible to complete many of the suggested tangrams in the booklet (with the color sides up at least). I contacted the seller and they took care of it immediately. These are fantastic little books. My 6 yr old and 3 yr old love them. I had hoped the left side of the book was also magnetic, simply because while traveling, it's hard to make the picture since the building surface is the same surface for storing all the pieces. I suppose you could stick them to the back, but they're likely to get knocked off in the car. Even so, we love this product and the customer service was excellent! Well worth the money.

Small size to keep in the car, perfect for a 5 year old that can follow this on their own. The pictures are black and white so too difficult for a 3 year old on their own but fine if helped. For my 5 year old, it kept her busy, she loved doing each one and showing us, the magnetic back to the book held onto the pieces well and the clip on the outside kept it all tight in a little bundle. We leave it in the car and she takes it out when car rides are long so perfect for her.

I got this for my 4-year old to take on a long trip. The book is compact and travels well, but there is no 'bottom' to the book or pocket, so the magnets stay in place when closed. They can come loose or shake down and out of the book, but we haven't lost any pieces yet. The shape examples are just black icons essentially and don't lay out which shapes you can use. I think that's the idea, for more of a mind puzzle, but not helpful for additional guidance.

I bought this book for my husband at the advice of his occupational therapist. He was recovering from a severe head injury and this was perfect for space -eye coordination for his recovery. The book is well made with magnets that actually work. There are numerous puzzles to solve in where you won’t get board. It travels well and is compact without being too small. Highly recommend.

My toddler actually really liked this. It is I that does not like it. There's no place to store the pieces lol. So, where you construct the puzzle is the only place there is a magnet and it's so small. I do not understand how this could be for travel when you have to find a way to keep it all together.

This magnetic tangram set is quite nice. The magnetic foam pieces store on the back inside cover on play area. I like that the set is like a book, and you have puzzle solid shape and also answers with pieces shown how they go together to make the image. The kids I purchased it for love it!

I got this for me to use for car trips. I get sick reading and I love logic puzzles and things that work my brain. I've heard it's good to prevent Alzheimer's. I got this out and tried it and some of the puzzles are pretty easy, others are going to take a while to figure out. I like that the magnets stick to the worktable side so that they don't slide as you are fitting more on, it makes it great for car trips!
