Seems very strong
Needed to support wooden shelf in large wardrobe holding several large box's of shoes and clothes. Trusted the producers description that it is a strong pole. Very pleased with the quality and strength of the pole I purchased the feet for top and bottom separately.

Did the job
Needed to replace my existing rod. This fit the circumference. I had to cut it down to size but it was easily done with my saw and a bit of elbow grease.

Obvious very cheap and thin alloy beacuse...
was delivery by DX couriers. Bent at one end flat at the other. So obviously not as strong as you would like. If they are using this courier what the point in buying it? They (DX) had no care or thought of stacking in van (I suggest). And it is a rigmarole to send it back. You even have to pay for return postage, then claim that back. What I can say, Amazon themselves were excellent with help and advice. They reasurred me they would keep track of the return. Good for the.
